For me, Good Enough is a song about someone (Amy) finally loving herself and accepting the fact that even when the other person doesn't love her, she's good enough to be loved and maybe she stops blaming herself about the break up. But overall, for me, that songs says what love means to me: I don't care how much you love me, I love you and that's all.

Goo Enough Interpretation

I think that this song means that Amy is not perfect but she is good enough to be loved and find love within herself. Nobody is perfect right! Totally great song.

I think that Good Enough is about finally realizing that you are good enough the way you are, and that you don't have to change for other people. That's just what I think, it might be completely wrong!

I think you are on a great roll there!!

Amy is now realizing, that she can be herself, and not worry what other people might say about her, or insult her.
She can just be happy, with the way she is, and now know's, she does
deserve to be loved, and that they (Josh) does love her for her.
She doesn't have to change herslef, in anyway, to make the other person happy, she can be happy, and be proud of the person she really is!

I'm sorry, but i have to respectfully disagree. I think that Good Enough is about working to please someone that doesn't notice you. Then when everything goes down in flames, you finally feel good. I quote this from these lyrics:
Want my heart and it's bleeding in your hand.

mildmanneredgoth is on a distinguished road
i do agree that "Good Enough" is about finally coming to terms with yourself and accepting yourself, but i don't know, i kinda sense some ambiguity there as well. It seems to be about self esteem as well, on reckoning that you're worthy of someone who you think the world of, and perhaps not quite believing that you're being loved back in equal measure.

"And I'm still waiting for the rain to fall. Pour real life down on me. Cause I can't hold on to anything this good enough. Am I good enough for you to love me too?"

This seems to indicate a fear of losing the happiness you hold now as well, becuase it's just far too good to be true.

From the video, i get the impression that perhaps in the past, Amy probably didn't believe in herself very much (the blurred mirror etc.), but because of the person who she's dedicating the song to (her husband, right?), perhaps because of his love and support, of his faith in her, she starts to gain more confidence again, illustrated by the shoots growing at the end of the vid, and she feels good enough again.

"It's been such a long time coming, but I feel good."

Bleah, anyway, those were just my 1/2 cents worth of what "Good Enough" could imply. Anyhow, it's a great song and pretty encouraging.

I thought the lyrics was "Crave my heart and it's bleeding in your hand"?
