I think that God made the big bang and the rest of the stuff just happen. I don't believe in creationism, that's stupid, just to think that man appeared randomly on this earth? No, especially when there is TONS of evidence to the contrary. I mean I'm as religious as the next jerk but creationism? Not so much.

while were on the topic of religion(though i may end up getting this thread closed or having my post deleted)while i was looking for god i would destroy all religion, im sorry but i agree with lennon on this one, a world without race and religion would be so mch more peacful, if only for a while because im sure we'd find somthing else to argue fiercly about, and thats good i dont want a boring world were no one disagrees, i know most people will disagree with me, and thats fine like i said before im happy to debate(as long as theres no personal atttacks on beliefs involved)infact i love debating this topic, so if you do disagree to keep it away from this thread PM me, because this isnt what the thread is about,

I would actually agree with you about the religious part, but why get rid rid of race? Which race? Blacks or whites? Race is fine but religion is a big problem I think. There is far too much hatred and bigotry, intolerance and judgement coming from so called religious people. It seems no Christian knows what is required of their religion and that is a shame, that they parade the name of Jesus around like a flag but have no idea what Jesus would feel about them judging and hating other people.

About race, in a thousand years we'll all be so mixed up that we won't know who's black or who's white (Well maybe more then 1000 years) but still. I wouldn't know what race to get rid of, and who's choice would it be? Or would we just magically all turn into one race? Or is there like a machine that would turn us all into one race? And if so what race would the machine turn us into and who would decide that? LoL lots of questions here, no answer.

As for the God detector, I asked my dad what he would do and he said he'd destroy it. I said, "Why" and he said, "I already know there is a God, I don't need a detector to tell me so." Man to have that kind of faith, I wish I could believe as strongly as he does...>_<

^ Your dad could be saying he'd destroy it not because he has such a strong faith, but because he is afraid that it could reveal that there is no God, then everything he believes in will become a lie. I imagine that for a devoted Christian, that would be the worst thing that could happen.

i mean, i am not a believer of any kind, but from my understanding, why would a religious person need such a detector? what's the point of having a faith if you have some kind of doubt?



as for me, i would of course use it to see if either i am screwed or almost everyone else

well, religion has been here since the beginning of time and race was created due to man's sins.

as for your father not needing to use the detector Sister Spooky, i agree with him completely. I know there is a God, and thats what i place 100% of my faith in.
