Talking The Grammys 2010

So did anyone watch?

Favorite performances? Worst?

Agree with the awards? Extremely dissatisfied?

Opinions, let them flow!

In my opinion, the best performances were by Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Pink, and all the others were just so-so.
And don't even get me started on Taylor Swift winning yet ANOTHER award that should have gone to someone else............

I watched the first 2 hours. I really enjoyed the performances by GaGa and Pink. They were the best by far in my eyes.

I don't get all the praise/awards for Taylor Swift. I mean she is cute and such ... but I can't relate to her lyrics or music. I just don't get it. I must be too old or something.

I think leaving Susan Boyle completely out of the Grammy spotlight really wasn't right. I don't listen to her music, but that lady made her mark in 2009 on the record industry.

Overall, I enjoyed the show. Wish I could have gone to the parties afterward :-)

Oh, believe me, it has nothing to do with being too old--she's just not that great. She has no range; can't hold out her notes. She can't dance or play it up for the crowd. And if you hear her live compared to her recorded music, she ALWAYS sounds worse....she's just not a great live performer period. The only thing that sort of saved her performance at the Grammys was the fact that she sang with Stevie Nicks, but even that only went so far.....

Yeah, they should have included Susan Boyle. That would have been really sweet

I saw the Jovi performance on YT but thats about it. The Grammys havent even aired here yet!

Taylor Swift is good but not that good. Keith Urban won a Grammy, which is good for the Aussies. Even though I dont like him, its good that an Aussie's music has made it all the way over to the US.

This thread is about the Grammy's- NOT about bashing Taylor Swift. You may not like her but others do. It's great to state your opinion. We welcome that.

I watched the Grammy's. My daughter loved the Michael Jackson Tribute. Cause it was in 3-D.

Lady Gaga's performance was over the top as usual. I loved when Elton John joined her.

Beyonce was also good. I loved how she combined 2 songs together. I really never thought she's sing "you oughta know" but she worked that song very well.

My favorite performance of the night was Pink. I love how she's incorporated the cloth swing, rope into her act. It's a very delicate thing and she pulled it off nicely.

Taylors performance wasn't really as good as I have seen her do before. She definitely took it down a few notches.

Zac Brown Band was pretty good.

I didn't care much for the Black Eyed peas's performance. Just didn't like the song.

Eminim, Lil Wayne and Drake weren't too bad. Tho over 50% of the song was bleeped out.

BonJovi was pretty good with Jennifer Nettles.

there were many more. but these were ones that stood out to me.
