katez0r I completely hear you on this. I guess I've just gotten so addicted to the drama that I can't give it up, but I find myself constantly yelling at the TV when the L Word is on. Especially I think around the time that Tina and Bette were getting ready for the birth of their child. They disagreed about everything and what really ticked me off was when one of them would make decisions about the birth without the other.(I think I recall something about the birthing tub) Anyways, I guess it wouldn't be much of a show if the lesbians weren't cheating, fighting, or dying (I still don't get why they killed dana off) I think that has kind of put the show in a downward spin. I don't expect it to last after this upcoming season...but who knows.

I'd prefer it if the show would portray gay/lesbian relationships are being more than just cheating and lying. It gives those religious types alot to argue with.

ok so WTF I missed a few episodes last season and all of a sudden I see that Carmen AND Dana are both leaving?? anyone want to ruin it for me and explain why? (I'll buy the DVD's anyways so dont matter). Also Marina coming baccckk only for what 2 episodes? still thats better than none. I miss her everytime I watch the 4400 I always think of her.

I'm really excited about season 4 (already, cant believe it!)

Soo, I know that Dana is leaving/left cause she got cancer and well, eventually died.
But I didn't know anything about Carmen leaving. At the end of the season, it made it seem like Shane would be more of the one to leave, or not have such a strong presence, but I haven't seen/heard anything about Carmen...though it would make sense.

I don't like having to wait until 2007 for the new season...for the record.

and the whole Carmen thing I read on one of the L word websites. I may have possibly read it wrong though, she might still be in season 4. I'm not really sure. I'll try to find a link of what I read.

I think Carmen was leaving mostly because of her new show Teachers on NBC but I think that failed badly. It only aired a few times if I remember correctly. I guess we'll have to wait and see

Well the airdate for the last episode of season 3 was March 26th. thats 5 months ago. and if you refer to the New Rule for Spoilers Thread anything that doesnt pertain to a new episode/seasons does not have to be blacked out, sure it might be considerate but it isnt a must.

K. So did anyone get season 3 on dvd? It came out yesterday. I went into work yesterday at 4:30 and there was only 4 copies left so I put one on hold for myself. Thank god I did because we sold out completely 3 hours later.

I watched the first episode of season 3 last night and I got goosebumps whenever Dana was on. It's hard watching it when you know what's going to happen at the end of the season.

We don't even have S2 out here yet, it's pathetic. It took about 15 months after the first season was aired before the DVD came out, and the 2nd season aired earlier this year, I believe, or it may even have been last year, but I am sure it was this year, which means we'll be waiting another 6 or so months before we get the S2 DVD.
