The L Word [TV]

I searched and didn't find anything.

The final ep for the first season of the L word recently aired here in aussieland. it left a decent sized impact on me, especially that last scene with Bette and Tina.

I was just wondering if anyone on here watches the show and what ya's think of it.

The L Word Online

that site seems to be down at the moment

nope, they are currently filming the 2nd season and is due to be back on air in January. The show is actually rather successful in america and was signed on for a 2nd season after just eps had aired

I was thinking about The L Word and Queer As Folk last night...as well as Will and Grace and It's All Relative...

Where are the "Gay" shows which don't do one of two things, stereotype gay people, or are sexual explicit?

Okay, I really haven't watched The L Word, but from the bits and pieces I have seen, it's no different, really, from Queer As Folk...

Will and Grace and It's All Relative sort of tend to make fun of or stereotype gay people, esp gay man...

So, where are the TV shows which portray gay people like any other straight person?

Hey, I did watched The L Word first season. It was amazing!! That last scene with Bette & Tina left me in awe. But I'm totally dissapointed that Karina Lombard isn't coming back.

That's a good point, but it's pretty much the same with some straight TV shows. They're sexual explicit and create a very promiscuous lifestyle, I personally don't see much of a difference. But that's just me

Okay, true enough. Sex and the City is a great example of that...

But, I think 'straight' TV shows tend to cover all bases though. You have the way over the top shows and not so over the top...where as a lot of the 'gay' shows I've seen fit one or the other...sexual or stereotype. Though, I've only watched four 'gay' shows...so I don't know what else is out there.
