The Legend of Zelda

Is anybody a fan of this very cool video game series?

If you aren't familiar with it, it first came out as one of those arcade games, and grew to be something much greater. The basic jist of it is a young boy named Link who must gather several items of value together in order to defeat an evil being save the land of Hyrule, along with (almost always) a young maiden, who is usually Princess Zelda.

I have stuck with the Legend of Zelda series since the beginning. A Link to the Past? Incredible. Zelda 64? Unforgettable...

Well, I have stuck with it since Link's Awakening, considering the fact that it was the first Zelda game to come out while I was living... But, yeah, the Zelda series is absolutely, positively a wonderful, unforgettable experience. The game with my favorite action/gameplay is probably Twilight Princess. The game with the best story is a tie between Link's Awakening and Majora's Mask. I think that it's way too hard to choose a favorite, because each game offers a different story and different gameplay. I can't wait to find out the name of the Zelda game that's been in production for a year!

My favorite by far is the Ocarina of Time. Classic battle scenes and an awesome overall plot. I love it!

The Zelda games are my absolute favourite games. I love Ocarina of Time the most (just how amazing is that game?? Omg. It's been my favourite game since it was new), and the Oracle of Seasons. I've been playing the Zelda series since one of them on the old SNES of my friends when I was like 10 or something.

I remember it took me soooo long to beat the last boss in Link's Awakening

Twinrova in Ocarina has to be the best one though!! actually that whole Temple in general with the Gerudo bit before is just the best!

Link's Awakening is like the Zelda game hardly anybody played...it's probably one of the best. The Ballad of the Windfish is an outstanding song, and the story is so sad. I remember playing that one on roadtrips across the U.S. Twilight Princess had this surreal feel to the whole thing, and I loved its music. Wake up...

Dude...the Twinrova battle in O.o.T. was insane. The Desert temple in that game was so fun to play through. It took me awhile. And the final fight with Gannon at the end was epic. They did a really good job with that game. It's one of the few games on IGN that got a 10/10. (Next to FF7).

Be careful not to double post

It was awesome!! Yeah, I loved that you had to go back in time to complete parts of it, really cool. The very first time I did this game though I actually completed the Desert Temple before the Shadow Temple, don't ask me how, I was 12 lol, until the second turn I didn't even realise what I'd done.

And Ganon, yep, it only took me one try to do it, but it was a long try

Ocarina of Time just has everything you want in a game. I've played it multiple times and it just never ever gets old!

Yeah the story was sad! I was like, omg, when I completed it and it all turned out to be a dream and it never happened. I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I haven't played anything past Majora's Mask because I don't have a Gamecube

I agree with you Phoenix Fires. I actually thought Ganon was the easiest part in the whole game. The final battle anyway. The water temple was WAY harder in my opinion. Took me a good 3-4 months to finally figure out what I was doing in that place Also the desert was pretty hard too.

I own the original Nintendo 64 version and also the version for the Gamecube with the Master Quest which is extremely hard.

Call me Amy

The Water Temple took me about a week, I could never find the right amount of keys or remember how to get to a certain place, or lower the damn water levels right, lol! The Spirit one was easier, and the coolest one!

I have the N64 version, I was 12 or so when it came out. 10 years since and I've still never found a better game than it really!!

What is the Master Quest?

I was like 6 when it came out, so I was young and oblivious.

Thats what my problem was, the keys! I eventually gave up, but then tried again and I did it!

Master Quest is the exact same game (OoT) only like, 20x harder. I havent beaten Master Quest yet. Look at its glory
