The Most Traumatic Moments of Our Lives

Okay so I'm just about bored to tears and I couldn't find a thread on this so I wanted to see what people's most traumatic moments of their lives were/are.
Mine: I broke a window and cut my arm up badly and spent three hours lying on a bed in my bathingsuit getting 33 stitches. Three days later I had to have arm surgery on it to repair a tendon.

Okay now everybody can share theirs!!! -amy f.

hmmm alrighy.....i went on a hike with my family once, somewhere in South Dakota I think. Anyways so we were almost to the top of this steep rocky mountain thingy and my mom somehow fell and ended up hitting her head on some rocks. It seriously freaked me out because her head was bleeding and I thought she was going to die. It turned out not to be that terrible...but ever since then I've always been very protective of my mom. She would get sooo pissed at me when I would tell her "ohohh there's a curb there"...or "watch out for that" she said she felt like I was babysitting her...she hated it. LOL anyways....that was the most traumatic moment for me mainly because I still think about it and worry about my mom a lot...

One time I had a huge boil on the top of my head (I was 4!!). The doctor had to remove it. It was soo damn painful... the pain...
