OMG the soulcube brings me to life when I am going under. If I didn't have it to make the monsters get away from me and save me from the dark then I would breath no more and you would see the ascencsion of my haunted spirit as I take my last breath before the dawn. Some people thought the soul cube was imaginary when it was missing but it was all lies. The soulcube is like my tourniquet when the monsters are so close and taking over me, trying to make me surrender. Sometimes it's hard understanding what it says when it talks to me in a whisper. I take my soulcube with me anywhere... in crowds, in solitude... I plan on keeping it even in death, because I can't bear the thought of it being farther away than by my side. I <3 my soulcube.

Wow.
That would be rep worthy if i could. So I just finished the game last night and I must say that I was disappointed with the last boss/cyberdemon lookalike. Hit him with the soulcube five times and he died. Wow. How easy. I beat him on the first try. The fight leading up to Sarge was much harder(btw, you can use the cube ONCE on sarge and kill him). So yeah, did anyone else find the secret PDA from id software?

Yeah I beat it last night too. I found the Id PDA, and yeah the last boss was easy. Id has a habit of that it seems. The Quake boss was nothing to beat... I can't remember quake 2... I didn't have a problem with the RtC Wolfenstein boss either. The guardian would have made a better last boss to me. Killing it was a bitch.
Oh well I enjoyed it anyway. Doom 3's done us a some favors besides the gameplay... The engine's out there for others to use, and I bet Halflife 2 wouldn't be as good as its going to be without D3 for competition, which only put yet another good engine on the market.

I can't wait for the doom 3 mods. So a year or two back I decided that the next 3 great pc games would be Deus Ex2, Doom3, and Half-life2. So far, Deus Ex was dissapointing at best and doom 3 was pretty good. If the trend continues, HL2 is going to rock hard. powerful hard.
