Boy, the wait for TOD to come out is just killing me. I'm trying my best not to listen to any other songs on it or read any reviews on it until after it is released, but that is so hard because I have been waiting three years and I'm nevous that it might be a terrible album bcause of some of the things I've read about it on here. I have never, ever anticipated the release of an album this much in my lifetime. Of course, I have never, ever loved any band as much as I love Ev in my lifetime either.

Hey, all of this just made me think of something. I think October is going to be the best month of my life! TOD is being released on the 3rd, I'll be going to my first-ever concert in Phoenix on the 27th, and my 16th birthday is just one week before the calendar turns to October! That gives me so much to look forward to in one month that I am nearly ready to jump out of my skin and through the roof.

On Wikipedia it said that Lacrymosa would be the second single that would be released around Halloween but then they changed it to Lithium. I hope both become singles since they are both marvelous songs. My favorite songs on the album are Lithium, Lacrymosa, Like You, The Only One, and Call Me When You're Sober. But you never know since Wikipedia isn't such a very good source.

hey i picked up the latest edition of Australia's Blunt magazine and it had an article on ev and said -
"Evanescence are about to get back out on the road for another extensive world tour (Lee says Australia is pencilled in for late '06 or early '07)."

I must say, I've downloaded about 9 songs off the album and i'm not a fan of any of those songs...I feel the songs are so far from what I thought songs on the new album were going to be. (Please note i'm not bad mouthing the whole album cause i haven't listened to the whole album yet)

I'm just really dissapointed with the songs i've heard so far They're just too depressing for me to listen to and they all sound the same to me, i can't make out which song i'm listening to. I'm starting to apperiate CMWYS more now.

But I'll always be a fan of their old music.

EDITED TO ADD: I feel that the band didn't have a big roll in making the songs which i've listened to, since all I hear are keyboards/pianos and vocals from Amy....Where are the guitar solos? There are no suprises from the drums, it's the same beat over again and I can hardly hear a bass guitar in any of the songs. And yes, they have thrown Ben's theory of what Ev's music sounded out the window and i wish they haden't.

There was little advertisement of TOD in finnish Soundi-magazine. There was pic of the album cover and text under it:
"Amy Lee and partners made their debyt the most sold album 2003 in Finland, now it's followed by long-waited second album The Open Door. Includes the strong radio single Call Me When You're Sober. In stores october 4th."
