HauntingWhisper will become famous soon enough
I think Snow White Queen is about rape and not fans.

I love this album. Its different and unique. My favorites are Lacrymosa (i play it the most), Lithium, Weight of the world,Sweet sacrifice,Lose control etc....

The only song I cant listen to alot is Like you. Its beautiful but it makes me emotional each time I hear it. The lyrics are so deep and personal and just wow. The whole song is just too much for me. Im still shocked she put a song like that on the album (for obvious reasons).

Anyways, I couldnt be more pleased with this album and I cant wait to see what they do with it and older songs live.

It's not out anywhere yet, we're the first to get it.

And yes, as it's been posted serveral times now, its due out on the 16th. Originally SonyBMG had it pitched for the 9th but it got pushed back a week.

The girl in Sanity obviously has no idea what she's talking about.
For future information on Evanescence releases in Australia I suggest you check out SonyBMG.com.au cos they are constantly updating with more news.

"I *littleleena* will promise to respect other people's opinions and not bash them or get overly crazy. I promise not to be a fangirl/fanboy or a total hater and post my opinions in and MATURE manner."

On first listen to this album it was nothing what i expected it to be, Dissapointed is not the word i'd use. I was suprised. I had been hanging out for Lacrymosa and was dissapointed that it wasn't the epic song i'd Imagined, Although Dissapointed I still love the song, it's my 3rd Fave on the Album. Sweet Sacrifice i love it it's the most fun song and I can relate to it. I don;t like to read song meanings, i like to interpret them myself. Which brings me to Snow White Queen, The writing is so powerful in this i cannot listen to it often, Coz i've been in the position that amy seems to be in, and this song frightens me. It's a fantasitic Song! I don,t Like Cloud Nine, it's the only song i don;t like, I've tried to like it, But I don't like the vocals at the beginning and i can't hear her vocals too well in this one. as i said the onlly song i don't like. CMWYS is out of place in the Album, it way different to the rest of the Album not "different bad" just different.

Overall the Album is more diverse and Experimental, then the Evanescence I know, I Love it, Everytime i listen to it, i like it more and more. I will buy the album, maybe two albums! Amy has Matured in her writing and Vocals and Personally i can't see why it'd slump. I guess we'll just have to wait and see..

Ricky69 will become famous soon enoughRicky69 will become famous soon enough
I liked the album since the first time i listened to it, but i must confess that i was surprised with the new sound. It's definetly different and experimental.

Things i liked the most:

-Amy's voice is a lot more strong, powerful and versatile.
-The choir.
-The heaviness in some tracks.
-The piano is really beautiful and fits well in every song.

Things i disliked:

-Too much effects on Amy's voice in some songs like "Lose Control" and "Cloud Nine". Her natural voice is so much more beautiful, why all those layers?
-Some eletronic samples i think unecessary.

All by all, i think i'd rate this album 8.5/10

I love it, but there are some things that don't grow on me by far, but i'm sure they will. With Fallen was the same thing. it got 5 months to became my favourite album, so..

My favourites by far are Lithium, Lacrymosa, The Only One, All That I'm Living For, Good Enough and Sweet Sacrifice.

It's not just you. I don't hear it either.

I don't see how it's industrial or even metal for that matter.

One of the songs has a kind of "ambient sound" to it, but other than that I pretty much consider this a rock/pop album. I know a few hardcore metal heads who very strongly disagree with TOD even being mentioned in the same breath as "metal".

So yeah, if anyone would care to express their opinion about industrial/metal, I'd love to hear it.

Yesss. That's exactly what I was planning to say in my last post about the new album. It just sort of blends into the background and doesn't sound special, and a lot like it's just one messy song as I've stated before. I thought it was going to be much "stronger" and faster, and just...louder. But whenever a song finally starts speeding up or getting louder, it suddenly just goes back to being slow again. *sigh*

I still don't see why people are calling it "metal" though. It's very poppy to me. :/

I gave it another listen the other day, and a couple of songs (Good Enough, Lithium and Like You) are sort of growing on me, but it's still not having the same effect Fallen had on me. It's a shame. I really want to like it, but I just can't.

Well, it all rather depends on perspective. To the average (notice I'm not pointing out any people here...*for does not want to die*) radio listener, Ev is some of the harder stuff on there.

...anyway, that's my two cents. Don't kill me. *hides*

Good point. I never listen to the radio, so I really wouldn't know what type of music is considered "the harder stuff on there", but yeah. It makes sense.

Haha, why would someone want to kill you for your opinion?

Because it seems like a lot of people have died here lately for stating their opinions.

ANd as for Ev being some of teh harder stuff on radio, if I had to say, I'd say it would definitely be. Compare it to some of the other songs on the radio (ex. Sexyback. Promiscuous. Showstopper) there it is.
