Why Amy Wrote Most Of The Songs Two Keys Higher Than Shes Able To Sing?? She Sang Sweet Sacrifice Two Keys Lower Live? Why Cause She Cant Sing Em?? She Can Barely Reach Any Of The Notes In Even The Easy Ones Like Call Me When Your Sober???
Mad............So Ive Come To The Conclusion That TOD Is A Piece Of Art But A Very Programmed Piece Of Art. She Had A Great Vision For The Record So She Tried To Sing It And Obviously Couldnt Then Highered It On The Record.... Sad Really ![]() |

I remember, the very first time I heard The Open Door...
I thought it was very different, and I wasn't sure I was going to like it. from being so use to listening to Fallen, but after just the second listen of the album, I really related to every song, that Amy had sung. She has done alot of growing, and I thought by having Good Enough as the very last track on the album, was just perfect. After going though everything she has had to endore in her life, she knows that she is Good Enough!! No matter what, I will never stop believing in Amy, and I will always support her! And I will always stand by her no matter what people try to make her out to be. ![]() I love every piece of music she has ever written, its nothing but the truth, and its as real as it comes, as well its about her life, and what she has been through.

When I first heard CMWYS, I posted in a couple of places that one or more of Amy's former Significant Others who are also musicians could write and record an answering song "Tell It To Your Shrink." LOL... It was only after I had posted this that I learned that Amy's current S.O. IS a shrink. ![]()

I remember I was so excited when i first got the Open Door. A little disapointed because it took me a couple days to get it.
The first track I went to was Lacrymosa because I had wanted to hear how the whole song sounded after that 30 second clip had been released. I loved it. I tried listening to other songs, but I just was not impressed. It took a little while. But I guess I started appreciating certain songs for the unique sound. It just wasn't something that really hits you as quickly as the songs from Fallen did. |

I think TOD is lightyears ahead of Fallen. I love Fallen, but TOD is far more intricate. It's like rock opera.
Another comment about singing lower in concert, I've noticed this too. I think she's saving her voice. When you hear her solo acoustic, the key doesn't change so much (eh?). I just heard Bjork missed out on some dates for vocal chord problems....probably best she sings a bit lower in concert. ?? |
