The riddle of Einstein

Hope it wasnt posted yet..didnt find anything!!
So here it is :
Do you belong to the 2 % of the most intelligent persons in the world ? There is no trick with the riddle, only pure logic..much luck and dont give up!

1. There are 5 houses, each with a different color.
2. In every house lives a person with another nationality.
3. Each Owner of a house prefers a certain drink, smokes a certain cigarette mark and holds a certain domestic animal (pet).
4. None of the 5 persons drinks the same drink, smokes the same cigarettes or holds the same animal as one of its neighbours.

Question : To whom does the fish belong ?

The References :
-The Britisher lives in the red house.
-The Swede holds a dog.
-The Dane drinks gladly tee.
-The green house stands left from the white house.
-The owner of the green house drinks coffee.
-The person, who smokes Pall Mall, holds a bird.
-The man, who lives in the middle house, drinks milk.
-The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
-The Norwegian lives in the first house.
-The Marlboro smoker lives beside that, which holds a cat.
-The man, who holds a horse, lives beside that, which smokes Dunhill.
-The Winfield smoker drinks gladly beer.
-The Norwegian lives beside the blue house.
-The German smokes Rothmanns.
-The Marlboro smoker has a neighbour, that drinks water.

Einstein wrote this mystery in the next to last century. It stated, 98% of the population of world were not able to solve it. Do you belong to the other 2%?

If you have a solution plz tell me and say me the time you needed!!

Okay, question: When it says "so and so" lives beside that, it means next to the description beforehand, right?

Just checking.

edora will become famous soon enoughedora will become famous soon enough
After some (okay a lot of) writing I figured out that the fish belongs to the german (mark it if you want to read it, I didn't want to spoil it). That riddle is solvable with common logic through the process of elimination. I think those 2% are the people who can solve it without pen and paper
