My wife bought a new PC specifically because Sims was so painfully slow to run on the old one. Sadly, it doesn't work on XP so we're having to look into getting Deluxe so she can get her regular fix of Sims again

... and I can assure you Sims withdrawal ain't a pretty sight!!

haha..the Sims are so addicting! i have Sims Pets, Livin Large, Hot Date, Vacation, Party, and Superstar. its pretty awesome tho, playing with all those expansion packs.

Some Cheats (in case you dont already know):

Hold down Ctrl, Shift, Alt, and C at the same time for the box to enter your cheat.

Using the box type in:

~for extra money type: rosebud!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;! ;!;!;!;!;!;!; (however many of those !;!; as you want- the more you type the more money you get)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~to get a good mood for your sim type:
move_objects on

then when you resume play, go into buy mode, click on your sim and delete it. then press the play button again. where the picture of your sim is, there will be a red + . Click on the face and your sim will have a good mood. (Note: save before you delete your sim, or else it will lose all its relationship, job skill points it earned from your last save.)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hope this helps you guys!

agreed about Sims Online...it is pretty hard to go back to reg. sims after you've had the best of both worlds...gaming and chatting..all at the same time!

Why don't you try making them? There are a lot of good tutorials on the web. Happy hunting

Anyone heard of "Double Deluxe"? We've got the Original Sims and about 5 expansion packs, but it refuses to work on XP. Sooooo... I was about to buy Sims Deluxe when I came across something on the Maxis site that said Double Deluxe was out at the end of this month. Only trouble is it doesn't say whether it will be XP-compatible. I ASSUME it will be, but the only information I've been able to find suggests that it contains "Original Sims" - and if they mean that literally, then that's no good!
