In all honesty, the better team won in this match. England had been playing mediocre (sp?) all tournament long. I was still rooting for England to win tho heh. Portugal's goalie is who won that game for them. He was amazing in that shoot out. Plus, I think Portugal has a better chance of beating Brazil than England. But I want France to beat Brazil, so that point is mute. heheeh.
lets go france!

I thought the sending off was rubbish, Portugal are a really dirty team. Really hard luck for England, wanted them to win even though i never ever support them.

Hargreaves must be a Jedi in the making, Maniche went down clutching his face even though there was hardly any contact. The Force is strong in Hargreaves.

I wonder what'll happen at Man Utd's training ground. Even though Alex is Scottish, Ronaldo is getting more spoilt, saying he wants to move, and he doesn't know a thing about teamwork. He screwed his teamate out of his dream, then winked to his Portugese bench.

Rooney dug his own grave on that one. He knew what he was doing. He stepped on the guys crotch, and than with the ref right in front of him he pushed a Portuguese player. That was stupid on his behalf. It might not have been a red card offense, but when you're going to lose your temper right in front of the ref, you deserve what you get.

Coming from a Man Utd fan Ronaldo's antics are really annoying, the way he plays is really selfish and the diving is just pathetic.

Totally agree. I'm a Man Utd fan and Ronaldo is just selfish.

They aren't what they used to be, that's for sure.

I'm definately not as much a fan since Beckham left, it all just went downhill from there.

anyway, back to the world cup. As long as Italy are nocked out, that's satisfaction for me.

NOOOO!!! *cries*
I cannot belive England is out! Damn!
That was a hell of a game. Really simular both teams, and definatly a NOT boring game at all, and surely hard for each team.
But it was just unbelivable that England only scored one goal in 5 penalties chances... I'm sad for it. But anyway... I like Portugal's team... their coach is a brazilian and in my oppinion, our best coach in here. So, Im glad they did it. Is just gonna be weird now... 'cause Portugal's coach now is the one that give Brazil the 5th star to us 4 years ago...and now we're playing against our old coach...and that will really be something.
Anyway... Brazil is almost playing now. I'm out of here now... let's see if at least Brazil make me happy now.

Congrats to both teams.
