The Austrailian Soccer team will allow an individual who once competed on the men's team to now play on the women's. Boy. This rocks. For those that play soccer, now you'll have to wonder about your teammates. But, I wonder how many jokes will be the result of such a decision. How does this make you feel? Your comments please.

I think it is perfect and it's another step towards the end of discrimination

A lil' weird, but pretty cool, I think! I like soccer...and transexuals aren't so bad either. So it's good to see new stuff like this being allowed. This will cause a whole shitload of controversy though, but it'll be interesting to see where this goes, to say the least.

In Italy men and women can play at the same time, although it's not been done yet. I think it was Roma who signed a woman a while ago, she could be the first.

I have a story.

In 1992, when I was at boarding school in North Carolina. I was on a soccer team that played against a school... that had a girl on the guys team. A real girl.

She was like the best player, too. Smoked us all.

Edit:

Remeber these t-shirts btw?

The Soccer Thread

Well... although they lack some months to begin the World cup 2006 of the FIFA, I believe that it would be important to speak of all that happens before - during and uhhh, maybe later!

Before: this for all the preliminary rounds, friendly, and other parties...
During: Obviously, for the passion of the soccer...
Later: the feeling of having lived him!....

The soccer, it is already known by all that it is the most popular sport at world level besides that it is the one that generates more money... Also, we are millions of fans that daily follow it!...

For the area of Concacaf (North America, Central America and the Caribbean), they have already concluded the preliminary rounds in those that the 3 classified teams are: It USES, Mexico and Costa Rica (yahoo!). Although it is still the possibility for the team of Guatemala, in an extra game to compete for a place, with an Asian team.

Well, although far we are of the beginning of the World cup, we are already living him!

LuciFer is on a distinguished road
I'm a big soccer fan as well. I'm actually hoping to go to the World Cup. My two brothers and I are planning on it right now, but it's no small undertaking. We all live in different cities. I'm in Winnipeg, Canada. My oldest brother is in Calgary, Canada and my older brother is in Tokyo, Japan. Then we have to get to Germany. It's gonna be tough to plan, nevermind getting tickets. Plus the cost is an obvious factor too. However, my brothers were both born in Germany, and I was obviously raised with a heavy appreciation of my roots, and we all agree that it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. We have family over there too, so we may have some places to stay. In any case, whether actually in Germany or at home, I'll be glued to the action. The World Cup is always the biggest showcase of soccer and I would even hazard that it rivals the Olympics in most watched sporting event.
