The Start!

Have anyone ever heard of The Start? They opened for Incubus at Kent (Kent State in Ohio..)last year (or two years ago). They've got a female lead singer like Amy Lee and their more like a pop/punk sound. Their album is called "Shakedown". I bought it at the end of the concert and had a poster signed by them thats on my wall right now, they're cool.

ok if you're going to go around promoting a band. Spell their name right. it's theSTART. not the start.

and the lead singer
s name is Aimee Echo. and yeah they rock live. Shakedown is so awsome. and my favourite songs are

Nemesis
Shakedown!
Dirty Lion
and
Hang On me

they were/are on tour with Lilix and some other bands I think the tour is called Girlz Garage or something.

ya they didnt last long on that tour i guess too bc amiee lost her voice i guess. i think that girlz garage tour didnt do shit either and it was cancelled pretty early. i went to the boston show (the 1st show on the tour) and there were maybe at most 50 ppl there. it was sad, the start was really good and it looked like a lot of ppl were there just for them which was good. ill check ulater

yeah, that is sad... I could bawl my eyes out if I was a musician and started to play and only had a few people there. But thats okay, I love them. Rock on theSTART! (look! I typed it right! ^^)

okay, so its an old thread, but I just saw them tonight, and I was very very very impressed. And Aimee is really sweet too, I got to talk to her after the show. Check them out if you haven't already

i still listen to human waste project alot!

if you don't know about HWP, its amiee echos old band, that featured mike from pm5k fame on guitar, and members of professional murder music as well. i highly recommend the album "e-lux", but its sadly out of print, so it'll be hard to find. download it, or whatever, you'll love it.

I've only heard one song by HWP, This Town, they say its by Kittie, but we all know better. I have a hard time finding anything by them.
