The Tribute CD cover art

As you all know, I'm hosting the karaoke contest. The purpose of the contest is to make a tribute album to Evanescence. The recordings are almost done but no cover art yet. Since this board is full of Photoshop artists, I'd like to ask for your help.

I want each page of the CD booklet to be about the artist and the song. The design and layout is entirely free. I'll be making the CD cover and traycard.

You can post previews of your images in this thread, but the final product should be a PSD file containing all the layer information. I will also accept Paint Shop Pro files, but I prefer Photoshop.

The characteristics of the image you'll be working on should be: 4,75 x 4,715 (inch) 300 dpi. Just download this empty PSD file and start working on it.

There's no specific deadline so take your time creating the most talented CD booklet pages ever. However I'd like it to be ready by the end of June.

One more thing, the CD title will be: The EvBoard tribute to Evanescence. Please don't include the words "karaoke" and/or "contest".

WOW! That is very impressive, ive been watching your work on this from the beginning.. and I must say I am loving it!! very good job and i'm sure skelekey likes it as well

Great Job Ice Queen. I love how you made it really dark and ominous...perfect for "Going Under".

Anybody know who's doing the art for "Haunted"? Just curious.

Skelekey also hasn't contacted me. And It's not due to the board's loss of stuff since January...he said ages ago he'd send me a photo and bio the next day...and that was like, 3 or 4 weeks ago. *sigh* *tries again*

Hi!!! Don't worry about deadlines for now... The Karaoke thread seems to be "stuck", however I'd like to have everything ready by the end of July...
