Jane, I can relate with your fear of social situations, too. I hate people I don't know, and especially the ones who come up to you and try to figure out why you won't talk to them or try to make you feel bad because you're not constantly spewing out garbage everywhere. The people here are cool, though, so I like posting.

A couple of other things that bother me are snakes and spiders. I don't like ticks either, they scare me to death when I feel them crawling up my arm. And I hate having to walk outside at night when the moon's not out. It makes me feel like someone's planning to spring out of the woods and chase me around the yard with a butcher knife or something.

Yesterday....I went with one of my friends to this old abanded
hospital, that is years, and years old.
It has been said its haunted, and I was looking at one of the windows,
and I swear I saw something go by, and it looked like a figure of a
person.
I was calm, but excited at the same time.
It was freeky, and shocking, and thrilling, all at the same time.
Ever since then, I have been thinking about it.
I told my friend, we should get into contact with someone who works
with the paranormal in Edmonton, and see if they can actually go inside
that old hospital, and see if they can find anything.
So we are both going to do some research on it.

Chatham College's campus is haunted. I live in one of the haunted dorms. It's unnerving to be awake at night and hear someone careening down the hallway (which is normally silent at 1 AM. (it's the ghost of a little boy chasing his ball. poor kid fell out the window chasing that damned thing) Basically the entire campus is haunted, but some buildings have more popular stories than others. Unfortunatly, the one about Mellon is only half true now...the bowling alley is gone. lol

But what freaks me out the most about the campus, is walking around when it's dark out. If i'm visiting a friend, and I have to leave, I have to walk back in the dark, which creeps the HELL out of me.

The dark in general creeps me out...

The most recent thing that creeped me out was after a ball game at PNC park. THe fools I was with decided the buses were too crowded, so we WALKED from PNC park to our campus. We walked through a VERY shady neighborhood on our way there; drug deals and drug users were doing their thing everywhere. I was terrified; shootings have occured in that neighborhood. I know that it's safer in numbers, but that didn't stop the panic/anxiety attack that I had, nor did it stop me from clinging to my friend's arm for dear life.

Never Again.....next time, I'm taking the bloody bus.

I was over at my friends house the other day, and that jerk, he know's
I hate slimy things on me, so he decided to put worms down my back inside
my shirt....
You can only imagine what came next....

It's actually not that bad. The ghosts have been quiet lately.

and the dorms were once old mansions, so it's pretty unique living there.

Actually, since a lot of people have moved out, they're starting to be active again....Someone keeps moving furniture upstairs in one of the rooms at like 2 in the morning, and basically everyone is all moved out from up there...xD

It's one of those things where you know something's there, but you can tell they aren't going to hurt you.

I didn't know about this, but apparently there are places in the
city here, that are really haunted, and my friend mensioned it
today.
She wants to go there with me, and explore around.
I thought she was freaking NUTS, but she really wants to go.
I told her, why so you can just scare the shit right out of me....
and she said no, she just wants to go for the sake of really seeing
a place thats haunted.
I said perhaps, but then I told her....watch me back out the minute we
get there.
