. This is all I ever really hear out of people that have recently joined this board. They have no respect for people who have been posting in here far longer. There are people on this board who have very educated opinions about the current state of the "band". This is a community of people who come here because of the relationships that this board has helped them form with people. A lot of the members of this board remeber a time when the band would hang out with them here. A band that they knew and loved. Now it's full of strangers who we could care less about. I am not bashing anyone who chooses to love the Amy Lee show. Go for it. It's your perogitive. Just understand that their are some angry people here, who have invested a lot of their life and time into this board and band. Excuse them if they are upset when all that fun and familiarity is taken away on a mad woman's whim. It sucks. If you want to talk about how wonderful Amy is and how we should all love her, go to evthreads. It's full of those people. If you want to remeber the days of teh efanar.....go ahead. A true Ev fan knows all about those days. For everyone else:Just stop trying to ram Amy down the throats of those who do not appreciate the choices that she is making. It will get you nowhere. Trust me.

I for one love amy and the band that had john and rocky but as of now the new temp. guys are pretty cool and I do respect the fact that people on here and everywhere don't feel the same so honestly what's the point in arguing b/c honestly no one on here is changing someone's stubborn opinions on anything so just respect other ppl's opinions weither you like the band/amy or not.and plz don't worship someone whom you don't know =)
And this is evboard you gotta get used to reading both negatives and positives about amy/the band so just deal with it instead of basically attacking one another for stating their opinions on that matter.

I suggest not wasting your energy typing out what has been said umpteen hundred times already. People are gunna act how they want, believe what they want, and be asshats as they want, and there's nothing we can do.

If you still like Amy and want to bah at her feet, go ahead. There's others with differing opinions, making this board what it is.

Also like I said I know there's people with diff. opinions and I respect that as well as your but it's not a waste of energy for me to type out things b/c I type fast. Plus from the first sentence you read I'm pretty sure you knew my point so why waste your energy reading more?And if what you mean by "bah at amy's feet" is supporting her then yes I do most of that on other boards =)

Not everyone who still likes Amy "worships" her. There is a huge difference between liking and bowing down to.

I have no problem with those who still like her, just a major problem with those who blindly worship her and drink in every word she says like life giving water. AKA the leevites

Hollee Ann and StupidGirl805 said the exact same thing, and almost started arguing with eachother because of it.

I see alot of people saying "we should all respect eachother's opinion", but very few people actually doing that.

Lenore - I agree with you, but again it's all personal opinion. I cannot understand how people see Amy as some better-than-human that never does wrong. But as long as they don't start flaming those with a difference of opinion, let them speak. No one is going to change anyone else's mind.

Especially since it's been months and everyone's said the same things a gozillion times.

Okay, what i'm gonna say might be funny (or sort of, it may not with somebody):
Imagine this: On one beautiful day Wind-up records kicks Amy out of their studio but keeps the other guys in the band, hires a new female singer and put her in the band (with Terry, Tim, Will and Troy), then they continue recording their song. The only difference is Amy left and another singer get her position in the studio. Get the idea? Good, now try answer this: Do you call that Evanescence?(without Amy???)
On the other hand, on the other altenative beautiful day, Amy suddenly left the band to follow a solo career with just her voice and piano music(meanings no other band members). Now try answer this: Do you call that Evanescence or even a band?(one-member band, is that funny?)
My point is simple: There is no Evanescence if it's just Amy alone without other band members. And Evanescence will be a completely another band without Amy, otherwise it's not Evanescence anymore.
