Judging by some of the top five's in this thread, some of you have not lived (in the gaming sense). The Sims? Spyro the Dragon? Theme Hospital?

*shakes head in disappointment*

Seriously. But, you know. To each their own or whatever.

My personal top five, in no particular order.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
God of War
Ico
Final Fantasy VII
Resident Evil

In no particular order:

Half-life 2
Tribes 2
GTA: Vice City
Call of Duty series

It's really hard to decide what to choose for the fifth, but I think I'll go with Still Life. I left out all of the nes and sega games, because as entertaining as they were, gaming wasn't that big of a deal for me when I was a kid.

Half Life 2 is a great game and in my top 5, but I wouldnt say its number 1, too many bugs. Which is unfortunate, without those bugs it would be a perfect game.

I really hope, for all our sakes, that they never, EVER make a perfect game.

Then there'd be no reason to make any more.

Considering perfect is a relative term it will never happen. And I personally would buy more games even if they did make "the perfect game" just to see if they can do it again.
