Infinite

Spoken phrases deemed to be that of cogent,
Phrases threaded so beauteously.

I adore what you create within me,
Yet I become terrified of what may come.

To know your presence is to know infinite love.
To wither from your presence is a tremendous wound to my heart.

Though physicality has now ceased,
I shall find solace within your sole memory.

Through all of this, our love is endless....

Abnegation of the Years

A feverish goodbye to endow and to entrust
The once thought of love.

An abnegation of the years,
A continuous churning and a continuous crippling
Of the mind you once loved,

Leaves you here to consider
And to regret the decision
Deemed to be final.

Very haunting. It's 1:30 a.m. and I'm starting to see double, so I will come back later and see if there is anything for me to criticize. Don't think so, though.

But there's always a possibility..... Mwah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah (***coughs and catches breath***) hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-haaaaaaaahhh!

You know I love these. They're both assembled in such an original, imaginative way.

The language you use is so beautiful. They are the most original poems I've read recently - I love it, because it's not that you use metaphors or similes to create imagery, it's just that the way you've constructed the stanzas is gorgeous. I hope you write more.

I like both poems, but I just love Infinite. I just love how it's written and the language that you used. Everything flows beautifully and I especially love this:

I appreciate all of the positive feed-back I have received for my poetry.

Also, I am in the midst of writing two poems currently. However, as it seems, I am having a bit of trouble getting what I want to say out. None-the-less, I should have my work up by next Sunday. So, please keep an eye out for it!
