This should be fun! Very hard though, I'm not completely sure but it sounds like the first part is actually rewinded and then comes the quack, quack, quack. *shrugs*

Do you actually know what it is, or are you in the dark like the rest of us? because I'm not 100% sure it is actually a duck.

I don't know what it is, but I'm just randomly curious about it.

To me, it sounds like a French children's song with accordion that ends with that duck quack quack quack.

I came across a song called "Five Little Ducks." The reason I checked that one out was because of this part in the lyrics:

And since the lyrics of "The Only One" deal with:

we've been waiting
for someone to call our leader
all your lies
I'm not believing
heaven shine a light down on me

Well, you get my point. The song is also counting down ducks which could relate to the band "losing" members.

I don't think it's this one though, the part I pointed out, nor any other sounds like it's what we're hearing at the beginning of the song.

I thought it was just an old song played backwards or something

Edit:Oh, this is a pretty interesting idea Dhamma. I have a feeling, it's a song sped up and then been put backwards. I don't have the software to be slowing the song down and putting it backwards but if someone does that and I'm right, then you cheated!

I give the answer that it's part of the song sped up and then played backwards with a random quack quack at the end!

i think amy thought "lets put a lil duck in the begining of the song and make all fans crazy about that", just for fun, and look, it works!! we all wanna know what is that duck!!

I'm pretty sure this is a song from a 50's movie soundtrack, I think perhaps it was 'Summer Holiday' the movie that is, not sure about the actual 'song' though. All I can say is I've definitly heard it before when I was a child...
