Spoken like true fangirls, I could not disagree more. The actress for bella is too "glamorous" and if she's truly as plain as she insists, she should have been much more normal looking.
And the guy playing Edward is seriously unattractive.
And I'm sorry, but NOBODY goes to a small town and is new there and has everyone fall in love with them.
NOBODY.

Character-wise, Bella rocks. Her introversion and magnet for danger (literally) remind me too much of myself.

Oh, I also didn't realize that everyone in town fell in love with her. XD

All the boys, seriously? I am an army brat, and have gone to so many small towns and been the new girl in town, and also have watched other girls move in. There was not a single case where every boy in school that was single had a crush on anybody that I've ever heard of.
It's just very unrealistic, but I guess if you're writing about vampires vs. werewolves, you don't have to be realistic with your characterization, either.
Shame.

^ um that was the point. if are going to call people a fan girl for stating how they feel or view something becuase it differs to you then hell i was going to try for the fan girl extreme.

i don't think anyone has spoken as you did in the capitals then not anyone. we can say great and we can say we enjoy things and (shock horror) have an opinion of our own

The caps lock was to demonstrate how STUPID everybody looks praising all the time. It's like everybody's too ashamed to have a different opinion and say, "You know, I DIDN'T like everything!"
And so I have some balls and conviction and disagree, and you try to rip me to shreds? Seriously, way to fit the mold and be "yourself".

dissagreeing isn't ripping you shreds. i dissagreed supported myself with what is evident in this thread. sure i joked with the fan girl thing but not ripped into you. if you read through you will find people who have said there are things they don't like myself included.

As much as hating seems to be the trend with some, there is nothing wrong with actually liking everything about something. It doesn't even really happen often, but the Twilight series is just that good. I can honestly say I liked everything about it. I'm also really not the fangirl type. >_> But, whatever.

Anyways, back on topic before this all gets to be too huge.
I just think that Ms. Meyer could have done a better job in making Bella a LITTLE more realistic as a person. She wasn't believable in the least. And as one of the only human characters, you'd think it would hold some weight.
