The camera starts panning on a graveyard, and continues focusing until we see a figure crouching over a grave: Amy. She's crying over the grave and singing at the same time. We see the headstone but don't really see the name on it, and so we figure she is crying over someone she lost. Then, as she continues to sing, we see a flashback of a car accident and Amy seemingly cradling her dead lover in her arms, crying her eyes out. Then the flashback ends and we see Amy crouching over the head stone again. She stands up, turns around, and sudddnly sees the image of her dead lover walking by. It seems that he keeps evading her. She's determined to catch him, so she continues to run around the entire graveyeard, searching for the dead lover that keeps eluding her. Everytime she sees him he disappears or runs off. Then towards the end, we see Amy stop running and stand, obviously ready to give up. She looks miserable and defeated. However, just as we think it's all over, we see a white light behind her and a figure start to approach. Amy turns around and realizes it is her lover finally coming over to her. She holds out her hand to grab him...they are about to finally be reunited...
However, instead of reaching out for her as well, he walks right through her, completely oblivious to her existence. Then we see the man walk over to the grave and crouch down just as Amy had. The camera finally pans on the gravestone and we see the carving: In Loving Memory of Amy Lee, with a picture of the living Amy against the stone. The camera pans one last time on the lover's face and we see a tear trickle down his cheeck, while at the same time, Amy is seen in the background, her head bent down and her body slowly starting to fade.

She presses her ears against the wall and pounds at the wall now eager to escape from the shadows. She then faintly hears music and sinks again against the wall listening to the music. As she looks around the dark room she sees a faded figure standing opposite her, she squints her eyes making sure she's not imagining anything. The camera then zooms into the figure and a Ben (or whoever you want) is seen standing there holding out his hand towards Amy. She slowly stands up walking over to the figure, but as she looks back at the room then at Ben's hand she notices that her body wearing her back clothers are on a pile in the room, she looks up at him, hesitation whether or not to take his hand, you see him mouth the words "you're safe with me" she then looks back into the dark room,then cautiously reaches out and grabs Ben's hand and follows him outside the door. She looks down at her clothes and sees she is wearing a pure white dress with beaded patterns. As she turns back around to close the door, she peers into the room and slowly you see the light shining in to reveal a lively room full of colour. Then the video ends as she follows Ben into the daylight.

ok i've had this idea since before GU came out, because i've been hoping for this song as a single for a long time.

anyway, as the intro starts, it shows a close up of john and terry's hands playing guitar (it cuts back and forth between them), then as the drums kick in, they show rocky from overhead playing. Then as the song starts, we see that they are playing at a party. there are people everywhere and we see this really beautiful (yet very fake) girl walking around with amy following her (kind of like she's the girls conscious) and amy's singing. this girl doesn't know that amy's there the whole time she's following her.

so she's walking though this crowd, and they're just kind of parting as she walks by, and at the "have you know shame don't you see me you know you've got everybody fooled" part, amy is up in the girls face, almost screaming, but she doesn't notice.

when it starts at the "look here she comes now," the girl has reached the group at the end, and they are saying this to her, as well as amy singing it. at the "bow down..." they all get on thier knees and bow to her, like they're worshipping her, and they're saying what amy's singing. when it starts the "but now i know she..." they all start to stand up and the head guy says it very evilly, screaming the next part (like how amy sings it). (up until this part, you can always see the band playing in the background)

the girl runs off towards the bathroom, crying, with amy following her. the girl is looking into the mirror and amy's standing behind her, looking at her, kind of in this sad "i feel sorry for you" way. the whole time that amy's singing the "without the mask where will you hide...can't find yourself lost in your lie," part, you see the reflection in the mirror change from the beautiful girl to who the girl really is, kind of a plain, down-to-earth, girl next door type. she's still very beautiful, but not in the popular head cheerleader type of way.

towards the end of "lie......", the girl walks out of the bathroom and runs (literally) into someone who meant a lot to her (i can't decide if it should be like this girls bf or if it's just her best friend)

this person gently places their hand on her cheek and says the "i know the truth now...i know who you are...and i don't love you anymore" and pushes her away at the end. then as the girl walks out the door, they say the "it never was and never will be you don't know how you've betrayed me and somehow you've got everybody fooled" and then outside you see the girl say to someone "it never was and never will be you're not real and you can't save me" and then it cuts to the person she's talking to and it's amy, and she says/sings the "somehow now you're everybody's fool." and then it closes by the camera coming towards amy's face and you can see the band through the window behind her and then it bypasses amy to the band and closes on them playing.

(just incase it's confusing...the whole time people are talking, amy's actually singing the words they are saying)

anyway, that's just my idea. i emailed it to wind-up awhile ago...

I think this is where I go to give my video ideas. If someone suggested this one already sowwy.

I'd been having a hard time imaginging what the video "Everybody's Fool" would be so I started thinking about it and thought that it could be one of those "silly" videos that make you laugh but not silly in a way that you are like wow that sure was corny. Sooo.. here is the idea I came up with.

The basic concept is that there are a group of girls who are in "refinishing school" because their parents are desperate to get them to dress and behave like "normal young ladies". So they are forced to go to this school and their instructor arranges for them to go to a fashion show (and not even HIGH fashion/more like commercial fashion). They are mortified at the thought and they have to be pratically drug there, which is what you'd see happening when the video starts - them being forced into the room where the fashion show is held and their instructors telling them that they are not behaving like civilize ladies.

There is this big stage with an audience of "normal" people and photographers. Then you pan over to the left of stage and there is this band there and they realize it's Evanescence and they don't care anymore that they hate fashion shows. They notice Ev at the same time the song starts. So once the music cues you see them rushing to the stage to watch Ev at the same time the camera is flashing back and forth between the "perfect thin modelsin their perfect little outfits walking the runway and the Ev fans (to describe Ev fans more, they are all dressed "uniquely' in their own ways.) Some of the models aren't "perfectly put together" with toilet paper stuck to one girls shoe, the other could have lopsided breast, fake eyelashes hanging off their eyelids etc. - basically showing that they aren't perfect, but are pretending to be.

There is one snobby model that they occassionally show back stage during all of this, and when they get to the "Look here some comes now" the camera follows her on stage and she has her nose all up in the air thinking she is the best thing out there (she can be blonde to represent britney

. When she gets to the end of the stage and turns to go back (preferably when it says "no flaws when she's pretending" one of her heals snap and she crashes to the ground. The Ev fans are laughing at her and the basic attitude is "that's what she gets for being such a bitch". So she hobbles off of stage with her mascara running from her crying.

At the point where they get to "without the mask where will you hide" a few of the Ev fans (can't be all of them or the stage will be swarming) decide that they've had enough of watching uppity models and take over the stage with the attitude "you wanna see fashion? this is real fashion". When they get on stage there are a few models on the stage so they are pushing them off stage into the crowd of Ev fans who are cheering them on. They catch some of the girls, the others crash to the ground. (at various times through all of this they are cutting to the band laughing, pointing, etc while they are performing. Like maybe show John wince then laugh when one of the girls crash to the ground etc.)

The "normal people" are now totally mortified and scared that all these "unnormal people" have taken over the fashion show. The photographers are snapping pictures like wild.

Sooo.. towards the end Ev decide that they wanna get in on the fun too when they get to the last "never was and never will be" Amy jumps into the crowd to bodysurf as she is singing that part and the camera is pointing straight down on her as she is surfing. The guys abandon their instruments and get on stage to "model" with the ev fans that have taken over.

Well that's pretty much it. I promise it looks a lot funnier in my head than it does in writing.

I just thought in general that that was a funny idea so if you don't agree don't hurt me.

As the song comes in it would start out in a ld torn down carnival. Before Amy starts singing she would be wondering around in a black dress. AS she starts to sing she be entering a merry-go-round and she be standing next to a black horse. as the words 'I know your still there' she'd start running after seeing someone in the shadows. When the band plays (first chorus) the band would be on a torn up old stage. As the second verse comes in Amy would be in a ahll of mirrors seeing someone in the mirrors relfection. As the guitar solo comes in Amy would be on the stage singing, and the other amy in the hall or mirrors would find her way out the hall and she finds her way to the stage and finds the person shes been chasing the whole time...The Amy thats on the stage. (theres two amys in the video)

First, Imaginary.

I put a little bit of the idea in the Evanescence Chat section.

A little girl (with a black dress patterned with roses) is running through a field of white flowers before the music starts. The music starts she jumps in slow motion and then lands as the the first riff hits at the same time.

There are some shots between the little girl playing and the band performing.

When Amy (who's dressed in a white corset) is shown singing "Where the wind...tell a story", a rain starts to fall, but the rain is not clear. The rain is red like blood. Eventually towards the end of the video Amy's white dress will turn blood red and so will the white roses.

The little girl is still playing in the fields. She looks into a microscope and sees reality in her world. She's frightened. The roses on her patterned dress start to fade away. The little girl realizes she can't take anymore of reality.

So she continues playing in the fields and starts to notice things that wouldn't have been a part of her reality. There are all sorts of strange looking monsters or hybrid animals, but she embraces the monsters because even though the monsters look harsh, reality is harsher. The roses on her dress begin to reappear.

During the bridge to the end, the girl is shown sleeping in her bed and then it shows her in her dream walking toward the "imaginary light"

Before the last chorus, the little girl is in her bed violently shaking.

The band is shown mostly with Amy singing the last chorus while the little girl walks into the light. At the end of the song, the girl finally wakes up.

"Imaginary" - It would be somewhat similar to 'Bring Me to Life' But the video would take place in a dream. As the song begins Amy and the band would be in an area that would either be in an ocean area or a desert area. As the lyrics are sung Amy would be with the band. As its gets more into the first verse the other scene would be Amy sittings on a rock beside a pond just looking down viewing the band and herself playing. Then as the chorus comes she would be run in a field of what else a field of paper flowers. As the second verse comes at the pond scene Amy would be standing in the water singing. As the slow part of the song comes in She'd be sitting down in the field singing and playing with a flower..as guitars come in the flower would blow away and rose pedals would be falling from the sky and Amy would being to run.

And as the song finishes the camera would zoom away from amy on the cross and the fire that the band is playing in would burn out.

Sooo.. towards the end Ev decide that they wanna get in on the fun too when they get to the last "never was and never will be" Amy jumps into the crowd to bodysurf as she is singing that part and the camera is pointing straight down on her as she is surfing. The guys abandon their instruments and get on stage to "model" with the ev fans that have taken over. Well that's pretty much it. I promise it looks a lot funnier in my head than it does in writing. I just thought in general that that was a funny idea so if you don't agree don't hurt me.
