The video has time lapse photography of the sun setting and then the sun beginning to rise again.

Amy, Ben, and David are in the middle of an open field. The time lapse photography remains throughout (to make it seem like an eternity has passed by the time the video ends).

When she says that line, it's obviously night.

Everytime they say "We'll be lost before the dawn" the sun is about to rise.

It's a very simplistic video. I'd say it's a performance video more than anything.

This comment made me think of the filmclip of Black Hole Sun, how the sky is moving behind them... mmmmmmmmmmmSoundgarden... *goes to watch the clip*

Come to think of it, you're right, but I think the video would be different from BHS. Good observation, though

Oh yeah, most definitely different, coz BHS is cloud movement, not the Sun. I think 'Days Like These' by Foo Fighters has the time-lapse photography happening in their clip too? I'm not sure, I've only seen it a few times. However, I think I may just have to d/l it to make sure... *giggles*

A girl sits alone in her room and she hears a huge argument between her parents. All of the sudden, there's a smacking sound and the girl runs down and sees her mother crying on the floor. Her father left the house before she came down.

The music starts.

The girl goes back to her room to go to sleep but can't do it she lips these lines.

"How can I pretend that I don't see"
"I saw her bleed"
"I froze inside myself and turned away. I must be dreaming."
"It's only in my mind not real life"

These incidents keep happening and happening as the girl becomes older. Some of the incidents leave the house in shambles.

Now it's 10 years later, and the girl finally has the guts to stand up to her father.

Saying "I fear you, but spoken fears can come true"
"that does not begin to justify you"

She still feels the guilt of not standing up to her father before and the mother finally stands up for herself.

The father walks away, crying in remorse sorry for what he did to the mother and his daughter.

The mother and daughter hug to end the video.

I'm thinking about mixing So Close and Farther Away together, but I doon't konw how that's gonna work if at all. I think it would be cool just 'cause of the name titles.

The video starts at the boyfriend's house. Amy's singing the song to her boyfriend. She's wearing a trademark corset in Valentine's Day red. It's a little role reversal of romance. She goes up to the room by a ladder and lips the second verse.

The shot changes to Ben, Amy, and whoever the drummer is (let's assume Rocky is the drummer) performing the song in a room with candles in a studio like setting.

There are quick cuts with the fast drumbeat towards the end between the shot of Amy and her boyfriend embracing and kissing and the band perfoming at the end Amy whispers "So close, and yet so far away" in which there is a fade out and quick fade in to Farther Away (let's assume the Origin version even though I like Fallen's version, this one fits better with So Close).

Now it shows the band Amy, Ben, Rocky and David playing.

Amy is now wearing a trademark Black corset. She's screaming at the boyfriend and much like Missing the boyfriend ignores her and everytime she lips a line she's drifts from the boyfriend, but the boyfriend feels remorse for what he did. Even so, he can't reach her, and by the end of the video she's gone.

Okay this is my idea of the My Last Breath video...

It should take place inside a forest filled with snow and Amy looking pale (like frozen) with lot's of makeup and her blue eyes glistening and whenever she sings, a breath of cold air should come out of her mouth. And cut scenes with the band in a grungey looking factory place with fire.

When she gets to the part when she says she misses the winter, a bunch of rain should pour down and melt the snow and Amy should start to cry very gently...

I can't think of anything else for the video. Any other ideas?
