I wasn't really sure where to put this. Even though this is Evanescence related, this is my idea. Well anyway, onto Haunted.

The video starts out at Amy's house. The short intro plays and there are pictures of Amy and her ex-boyfriend all over the place. The words start and Amy thinks she hears something. She goes to the door and there is nobody there. She backs up and after the "I know you're still there", A hand pops out from the floor. Hands start popping out the floor trying to pull at Amy and she's trying to fight them off. She gets free, but now she gets a little paranoid.

Now Amy starts seeing her ex-boyfriend all over the place, but he's not there. She checks the door and sees his face, she looks under her furniture and she sees him. She starts pulling down the pictures, but they keep popping back up in their original place. She starts to scream as the guitar solo starts, and there is an edit that goes inside her head. She's inside an asylum in a straight jacket and she still sees her ex-boyfriend in the padded room. Then when Amy starts singing, there is an edit that goes back to the house, she's losing her mind and she starts to get pulled down at the end of the video she's gone.

Awesome piece of work. Although, I think you should add some scenes of the rest of the band, playing in some room of the house. Amy and the band don't actually have to come near each other, as seen in Bring Me To Life.

Thanks for your comments. I realized I neglected the rest of the band. I think they would be playing somewhere underground and there would be shots of them during the first chorus and the guitar solo. I also liked the whisper idea. It would sound as if the boyfriend is there, but he wouldn't be. It would be a figment of the imagination.

I might make more video ideas for Imaginary and My Immortal.

Actually, I think the band would be the 'hands' trying to pull Amy down in the Haunted video.

very cool ideas there... it should be... tenser, though. i don't know if that's the word. like going under-tense. but nice idea, really. maybe, like, add that ev-trademark whispered words, somehwhere in there. like the one in fields of innocence, but of course creepier. or amy suddenly gets sucked into a wall or something. man, i think if they try to top the GU vid, we'd need a Home theater system to fully appreciate it. i mean, there are certain effects in the GU vid that are too subtle to hear on regular tv's!

btw, amy expressedly said that there will be NO video for my immortal, as it is "not really a single". fyi.

I wonder if that could be somehow coupled in with the little girl with the red ball, etc. I love that imagery...

That's a pretty good storyline too. I was just trying to relate the song to a video and since I interpret some of the songs on Fallen as a boyfriend/girlfriend thing like Haunted, that was the idea that I came up with.

That stinks that My Immortal in all likelyhood won't be a single or in a video. It's just such a beautiful song. Oh well *hopes for Imaginary *.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love your idea! I had images going through my head of the whole 'little girl with the red ball' integrated in as part of the lunatic babble running through her head as she slowly goes insane... *shrugs* Don't mind me...
