Fuck is a tacky, word. Swearing is tacky in general, it makes people look idiotic. And 'cum', the spelling, the saying of it, everything about it... such a tacky word.

The extent of something like this is ridiculous, just returning the damn thing would have been the appropriate thing to do, and the money they want is ridiculous! But I agree somewhat with some parents and how they don't want their child to get exposed to the word "Fuck" from that childs favourite musician. Alot of Evanescence fans are kiddies, 11-13 year olds, and at that age --- if you try and deny it, you're being an idiot --- we copy everyone we love/admire. I mean kiddies will think Amy says it, so they can say it, it'll make them look "kewl." I see and deal with this (being a junior) with all the Freshman at my school. You know, "Omigawd he iz so hawt, look at heez eyebrow reeng, omigawd lyk imma get 1 2!" <--- Not talking about me, using an example of what alot of them say about favourite band members and such.

Anyway, so yeah....

Edit: Also, rape/raping is not a swear word, at all, its not even a bad word, its very silly to think so.

You know what I don't understand about Wal-Mart? My dad was telling me about a book that he had interviewed the author about, and the book was filled completely with nude prostitutes from around the world. But you know what's stranger than a book completely filled with nude prostitutes from around the world? Wal-Mart carries it.

I also read on the Atomship website that their song Agent Orange was censored because Wal-Mart didn't like the fact they had the word "fuckin'" and the words "american flag" in the same sentence. Yet they didn't censor Friends, in which at the beginning, he states, "hey mama, can't you see I'm fuckin' cooking??"

There was no sticker on the Atomship album, and it was sold in Wal-Mart stores with no problems. So why is Wind Up getting in trouble for Evanescence saying "what the fuck you think it's doing to me"? My dad listened to that song, (and hates curse words btw) and couldn't even understand the word "fuck" in the chorus. The first time I heard it, I didn't know she says "I want you crying with your dirty ass in front of me", or "wanna kill and rape you the way you raped me". To be completely frank, I'm more offended by those lyrics than the "fuck" word.

Wal-Mart makes no FUCKING sense to me.

well i got brought up in a household where 'fuck' was a common word, but then consequently, i hardly ever swear (unless the occasion arrise) if people swear all the time it gets tiresome, and loses its effect. if your brought up in a shelted home like whatever miss 13-year-olds name is, then if they hear the word its like, "wow fuck is the coolest fucking word, if i use it two fucking million times in the same fucking sentence i will sound so fucking cool." and everyone else just rolls their eyes... so many little kids are walking around swearing their asses off... grow up. anyway, i digress. at least ev will get lotsa attention, hopefully boost the sales
