This is pretty ridiculous, considering Walmart sells other stuff with "fuck" in it. Movies aren't edited, although they do have ratings, but still! If you really, really care, you'll double-check everything for your kids from other sites or talk to someone who has it. They just want money, pure and simple. And it might make Ev look bad.

I bought the TDG cd + dvd at WalMart and on the DVD the word "hit" (in I Hate Everything About You) is bleeped out, but on the CD it's not and they say shit and stoned. omfg I am like so going to sue because it said edited and it WASN'T!

This is not worth $75,000 per defendant.

The parents should have just returned the CD if they felt it was inappropriate.

I think the only thing that needs to be done by record labels as far as parental advisory labels are concerned is to clearly define what makes an album explicit because there aren't any guidelines. They're just assumed that whatever has curses on it has a sticker on it when that is in fact not the case.

That's the worst that should be done. There shouldn't be any monetary penalty for that.

Somehow this does not suprise me in the least. Any excuse to litigate seems to be the norm now down there. I also find it hugely ironic that bad bad swearwords are not allowed at Walmart, and yet they sell guns and ammo at low discount prices. Words don't hurt people, guns do.

Why do I think this 'Steen' character is just a trailertrash trying to get his name in the papers?
