That's exactly how I used to be. I'd eat one meal a day, because eating more would make me feel sick to my stomach for the rest of the day.
I haven't lost any more weight recently, even though I'm still dieting and exercising my ass off. *sigh*

It's okay for those of you that want to put off your weight loss goals until after the holidays. That's reasonable of course. Just a friendly reminder though, that it doesn't give you an excuse to over indulge. Be careful what you eat, and eat it in moderation. ^______^ You don't want to put on so much more weight during the holidays, because it'll make it even harder to start being committed to a weight loss regimen.

If you're going to parties or dinners over the holidays with your family and friends, take samples of things. Taste and enjoy, but don't indulge yourself on a few items. Make your palette merry, and your stomach and thighs will thank you later. :P (That was totally gay, but I'm being serious.)

haha Jane, gay...but true
"A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips"
think of it like that.
Im "dieting" as normal until we have christmas eve dinner. Eat in proportion there, and then have christmas day breakfast as well. Then Ill go back to my normal routine. Im starting to run/walk on the treadmill and I think it will help ALOT.

Good luck Cathryn, I wish you the best!

And to the gals that are holding off until the holidays, nothing wrong with that. Like Jane said though just dont over stuff yourself or else you'll pay later

I'm never one to overeat anything during the holidays. I barely even eat at dinners/parties, maybe just have little tastes of stuff that I really like and that's it. But still, best to wait until after. *nods*

Thats awesome that you arent really tempted at parties...I get like that sometimes too because I dont like eating in front of a bunch of people.

I just walked/ran on the treadmill and feel like my butts gonna melt off my body and onto the floor....

Oh yeah, jaded_whisper, could you please change my goal weight to 165. Thankks.
My mom and I talked and she said 37 pounds would make me a stick figure...which it would. So she said she wouldnt let me lose more then 15...and then go from their. Im built with ALOT of muscle...so yeah. I dont want to look like a stick, I want some curves still

Yup, I'll change it! I actually don't eat much when I go to dinners and stuff for the holidays just because I don't usually like much of it. I normally only eat, potatoes, a tiny bit of whatever meat it is, lots of olives and pickles(num), and some of the salads. I'm a really picky eater. But then come in the sweets...

It hasn't even been a week since I got that ring in the mail that said "Eat Better" on it but it's been a great reminder and I've been making a lot of better choices on what I eat and I really like it. The website is pretty nice too. The website it promotes is http://www.eatbetteramerica.com/.

That's all fine and dandy, and I COMPLETELY understand that whole sick to your stomach of food thing..but remember guys, it is a Temporary thing. In the long run all it does is slow down your metabolism. But i'm sure you all know this. I haven't been in the mood to eat either. the good thing about being deployed is the fact that you get sick of chowhall food in a hurry! haa haa, so I pretty much bypassed that whole "Holiday 10" thing. Woot! My prob is carbs..I eat WAY to many of 'em.

However, I would like to report that all though I have Yet to see an improvement on the scale....I kind of did some "Progress pictures". Haa haa, I took pics before I came, and I took some about a week ago. i must say, I was a little impressed with myself. I didn't think I had made ANY improvements because I couldn't see them on a daily basis. But when I did that and noticed some possitive changes here and there, i got really motivated. I'm kickin ass in the gym more, and i'm lifting again. Did you know that light/high rep Lifting burns body fat up to 6 hours Longer than doing just cardio?!? I thought it was all B.S. But i've been lifting again for about a month and a half now, and I notice a Deffinate difference in my arms, stomach, and legs. WOOT!

So keep up the good fight guys! I personally plan on doing more cardio after lifting so I can get that extra something out of it w/ out breaking down teh muscle i'm gaining. So i'm excited. That, and I have about 3 weeks left in the Desert, so it's Crunch time! I'm cutting down on my Card intake, and upping my cardio so I can see those last minute results. I'm excited! I hope Justin's mouth drops (in a good way) when he sees me when I get home. But i'm doing this for ME, and that is all Any of us should do it for. remember that guys. So, until i have some updates, keep pushing hard, stay Motivated, and remember why you're doing it. Good luck everyone! And Good Workin out!
