I'm happily getting over that one-meal-per-day stage. I can eat stuff without feeling sick now, yeay! And my metabolism seems to be back on track and working just as it should.
I'm going to start exercising real soon, so watch out body fat! *pokes it*

I don't need to lose weight, rather ridirect it, in words.
I'd like to be a little bit more 'chumnky' up top, and I'd like to know how I can move some weight off my butt and thighs to 'even' it out a bit. I'm not thinking of walking, or anything, I walk miles and miles just working each day. Is there any gentle excercise I could do, or anything that I can eat to help move the weight? ![]()

I'm going to start exercising again soon too.
I was so proud of myself when I went to the doctors last week and I saw I had lost three pounds you guys! I want to keep feeling that way. You should have seen the smile on my face.

You can't move weight around on your body and you can't choose which parts of your body you want to lose weight and only lose it in those areas. Your body just takes the fat off. There's no way that you can increase fat in one area and decrease it in another. Unless you want to go the liposuction route, that targets a specific area, but there's no way to physically do it yourself. You can lose the remaining fat where you currently have it, and tone that area. I'm sure we'd all wish to change out fat from one place and put it in another by exercise or something, but it just can't be done. EDIT: I've currently lost six pounds. I started working out again at the beginning of the year. And I jogged on last Friday for three hours. :P It's easy for me. Take stairs all the time... park the car in one lot at school and walk to every building. And what I do is I park my car in a lot that isn't near any of the buildings I have classes in. So, once I'm in a class, I'm not tempted to just take my car to the next one, because it's ALL THE WAY in the other lot, so I trick myself into having to walk anyway. That's a work out... walking across campus. Fwew.

What do you do at your job? (if you don't mind me asking) I'm sure you could find a way to tie exercising into your job. Like park farther away so you have to walk and that will tone your legs. Stuff like that.
Oh and I start working out next week I think. I wrote it down on my calander.

I work at McDonalds, work long hours, which is very hands on because we are always running about, serving, cleaning etc etc. I end up walking about 10 km each day, and I haven't lost any weight off my butt! I don't drive so my parents drive me, they drop me off in town and I walk the distance to work, which is fine, but if I were to walk a longer distance to work, I'd worry I'd be burned out, too tired to run around after all those customers...

I'm finding it hard to find time to work out. I've been working 13 hours a day 5-6 days a week. So when I get home, I'm tired as hell. My daughter keeps me busy, but there still really isn't any time to do much exercise. Plus we have about 6" of snow and ice on the ground that just won't go away.
