As usual (more often now, as in the past), I'm listening to some college radio. Hip hop shows.

Lots of good stuff bein played. On another hip hop show that's currently on also, about 20 minutes ago, they had Mos Def...old song, but still good. Then the DJ mixed it with Mass Appeal (Gang Starr), fading...good stuff...then, El-P's Dead Disnee. I was in the car going.."Shit I know this song!!"

:shock: they made "Beef" into a song. Mos and Kweli. It's redone, cause Mos is 1. speaking slower (no, they didn't slow it down) 2. he's putting more emphasis on certain words. his voice changes. And Kweli ain't in the song apparently :? Kind of sucked...I like the 'freestyle' better.

And now, a new Tupac song just came on. I'm guessing it's off Resurrection (not Runnin)...funny how I own Beg For Mercy and Resurrection, yet I ain't sure of the track titles

Because LaunchCast Radio is not the wonderful, benevolent creature I (until literally two minutes ago) believed it to be.

Well, there's always the radio.

I'm currently listening to ...well, I don't what to classify it in. World music, I suppose.

Was listening to some music from India and Asia Underground (group? :?), and now some calm, wonderful music...great female singer, soothing voice, to some nice beats in the background. NOT mainstream R&B. It ain't R&B - more of world music.

I really, really like international music. The DJ was having a hard time pronouncing the title of the album (being that it's foreign and all), so he just gave the English title or something. Applys to the vinyls as well.

International music - at this hour, usually around 3, 4 am, is really nice music to listen to. It fits more since it's night. For me, at least...I like it this way better. Techno, great at night, but not when you're home LATE at night and a bit tired

And currently, after typing all that, some odd song with drums and a bit of electronica in it came on. Actual drums from the sound of it (or samples possibly)...great mix tho. No vocals..

The only good vocals with this international stuff is the chanting that goes on.
