Currently, I'm burning a CD befo I gots to go to work (why can't the CD burn any faster? hahaha. I have to put it on the lowest speed, otherwise it gets a buffer underrun thingy. Error)...but anyway, while burning, U2 - Pride (In the Name of Love) |

Fuel- Won't Back Down --- It's a great song......
Metallica- Damage Inc. --- It's a fast slice of 80's Thrash Metal!!! It makes me feel powerful!! Extreme - Rest In Peace --- It's an early 90's hard rock song with a positive message.... "Let's give peace a chance!!!" ![]() |

KMFDM - Ikons
i first bought KMFDM - XTORT on a whim because someone told me they were awesome, and i heard one of their songs in a videogame. after hearing the album i fell in love with them. ironically, enough, XTORT has become my favorite album by them. this album has gotten me through so much. there's a sentimental quality attached to it, plus it's good to listen to whilst getting inebriated. |

Hoodfellaz-Taking Da Band (a diss to the rap group from Making Da Band)
The first time I listened to this, I was . This is hilarious, but I didn't realize there was actually a bigger story to it.The Hoodfellaz and Da Band are (or were after this diss) on the same label. P. Diddy put the Hoodfellaz on the back burner to focus on Da Band. Needless to say, the Hoodfellaz were pissed and made this song. The first part of the diss is to the beat of the hit single by Da Band-Bad Boy This, Bad Boy That. The second part is based on an episode of Making the Band 2 where P. Diddy forced Da Band to walk all the way from Manhattan to Brooklyn to get cheesecake. "Can I take all yo' orders or somethin'?" -"Yeah, yeah, yeah, give me the prime rib, umm umm the mac and cheese on the side and yeah yeah definitely dessert." "CHEESECAKE CHEESECAKE CHEESECAKE CHEESECAKE!" "You on your own" "Hey guys, Brooklyn is THAT way." LOL, this song is freakin hilarious.

I never saw the show (no cable/satellite...yet )...had a few chances to see it but was busy.Anyway, reality shows ...crazy shit. Making Da Band's single was alright, didn't like it too much. As for Hoodfellaz and Da Band...reminds me of Nas ditchin Mega when he was in jail...I don't even remember the whole story. Somethin where Nature was involved so Mega dissed Nas and Nature on his albums. I want to listen to some Beatnuts (only track I got is on a mixtape, Work That Pole)...No Escapin This and uh...forgot the other single...but yeah, it's hot. But now, Cormega's Beautiful Mind. A single off of Urban Legend, coming out in a few months.. Mega did some collabos with a lot of artists for this album I think. Forgot. Few mainstream ones too. It was either Mega or Mobb Deep's new album comin out next year. Actually, I think it was MD. Reminds me of something I read online recently. Something about one guy tellin another, "Oh, what, you tired of the dunn language?" MD's latest shit was...on Noyd's album, Air It Out feat. Havoc was HOT. Rest of the album was alright. |
