Indigenous. I saw them the other night in Omaha. In case you don't know them they're a blues band from the midwest. All from the Nakota Tribe of Sioux. Not that that matters. The lead guitar player and vocalist Mato Nanji is the reason to listen. That boy burned the house down!

I'm So Afraid (live) - Fleetwood Mac
because it's so intoxicating. the guitar solo takes me to another place. it's only the live versions... the old '75 album version doesn't have the same energy or power. it's a little more haunting and subtle than electrifying and hair-raising. I have over 10 concert bootlegs of this song and each one is more gratifying than the next. and for it to hold up so well almost 30 years later is IMPRESSIVE. Lindsey Buckingham, in my eyes, is the most underrated guitarist ever. AND THE MAC IS NOT SOFT-LITE ROCK (whatever you call it) PUFFS OF CHEESE. this is art and talent of 36 years. |

Mitch Allen, the lead singer of SR-71, and the cover of Peter Gabriel's classic In Your Eyes.

Jadakiss - Why
I like the Time's Up song with Nate Dogg. Anyways, this album is pretty old now already (and it hasn't even come out yet! comes out today) People bootlegged this shit like crazy until word got around that it's wack. Most people I know said the album wasn't that great anyways. I just got around to listening to it yesterday. And I heard people drivin by today blastin Kiss Of Death so..guess some like it. The thing is, the first half of the album is mostly wack. While the second half's got dope beats. And the irony? In this song Why.. "Why they kill Tupac and Chris?" "Why is 85% of rappers lyin in they lyrics?" Why is YOU lyin in YOUR lyrics T_T fake thug..still a good guest rapper tho. |
