I'm listening to my soon-to-be-again college's radio station
WNCU 90.7 FMThey're playing a lot of the old school loops that have been sampled by rappers. Like the original songs from Lloyd Bank's Smile, Ashanti's All My Life, etc. I don't even recognize half the songs they're playing so, wow..but the original songs are just so much better than today's somewhat. Mike Nice is the DJ right now I think, and he's just scratchin in-between songs. Pretty nice, just chillin..earlier they was playin a bunch of Big L songs. Haaa..good times. They just played the one Westside Connection sampled for Gangsta Nation this song is hot..man, I wish I could be there in the studio now or somethin! I'm so curious who the hell these old school artists is since I only recognize like 60% of what's being played, but don't know the original artists. Maybe someday I'll get a chance to dig in some cat's basement and find some rare sampled records I wish I had started taping this earlier this is going to haunt me for the rest of the night. hahaRight now...Young Buck feat. 50 Cent - single??? If this is his single, that album must be...ehh. Well I'll probably end up buying the non-deluxe version of it anyways..who knows. At least he got Flip on there and a few others. I heard this beat on Bank's DVD in the deluxe edition of The Hunger For More..it's aight but nothing special at all. Last edited by Cyra : 07-03-2004 at 09:27 PM. |

a song I just downloaded since it was titled Evanescence - Hello (rare live practice session) and I got all excited and clicked it immedietly, but alas it has just been echoed to make it sound live... so I am now rather annoyed.
