The Amber Spyglass - Phillip Pullman.

It is the final book in the His Dark Materials trilogy - the first one (The Golden Compass otherwise known as Northern Lights) will be a movie in December!

You should all read the trilogy, especially if you are into fantasy. They are really really awesome books!

Agreed. Those books are fantastic.

I just got done reading Hamlet which was a waste of time. And now I'm going to be reading "The Kite Runner", which I bet is going to be good.

And out of school, I am reading a book called "God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything". Fantastic read!

bones to ashes ~ kathy rieches, one of my favourite authors she rights really good forensic anthropology books i love them. the tv show bones is based on the books and kathy kicks patrica cornwell's arse any day!!!

The mists of avalon by Marion zimmer bradley

Amazing book indeed , much better than the movie..and the movie is brilliant!

So I started The Kite Runner, and it is amazing. I'm so absorbed into this book- and the movie is coming out soon! I can't wait. It's a definite recommendation for anyone who is interested in Middle Eastern culture around this time period.
