I read the Kathy Reichs book, it was very good and easy to read because it was set in the US and not in Canada so no hard words lol and now I know that Tempe's middle name is Dessae or something like that, how cute a name is that

Okay, so I'm reading quite a few at the moment..
De dochter van Joop ter Heul [which is Dutch; translation: the daughter of Joop ter Heul] it's the fifth and last book in a series.. from Cissy van Marxveldt. Hannibal - Thomas Harris [Dutch version] Dйjа Dead - Kathy Reichs [Dutch] Monday Mourning - Kathy Reichs [in English] Tot stof vergaan [Bones to Ashes] - Kathy Reichs [Yep, in Dutch again] And it depends on my mood which one I'll read! ;-)

I just finished Fingersmith by Sarah Waters and I am profoundly, profoundly jealous of whoever hasn't read it yet. I want to read it again for the first time!!!

i'll probably have to check out some of the books mentioned here sometime, always on the lookout for good authors.
Just finished reading "The Secret Agent" by Joseph Conrad which is really excellent, and the LOTR trilogy. Right now, reading through a short story of his as well, titled "Youth". The other book that i'm plowing through is "The Wind-up Bird Chronicle" by Haruki Murakami. This one's gotta be savored little by little. And if anyone here wants to check out more Stephen King, you could probably look for a collection of short stories titled "Everything's Eventual", which also shows off his knack for characterisation. |
