I'm currently reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer. It's an amazing book that I can't put down...but I have to sometimes. Ugh. Work. *rolls eyes*

Check out the thread for it here.

So, I finally finished reading "Amsterdam" by Ian McEwan. It took me forever to read this 180-page book. They say it's a page-turner but it's a way far from a compelling tale. Besides, they call this book an "intellectual bestseller", but how can a bestseller be intellectual?
I'd decided to read this book because I liked its description, but in practice it turned out that the book was about absolutely different things and I just couldn't get into it. So, I wouldn't recommend to read this book even though it's been given an award or something.
