I'm reading The Divine Comedy, Dante Alighieri.
I'v read it before, a few years ago, but I'm starting to read it again. Great book. Highly recommendable.

Dan Brown's Digital Fortress. I really have to say, though, after reading Da Vinci Code and Deception Point, the rest of his books have seemed kind of useless. Angels and Demons was sort of messy and repetitive and Digital Fortress, at least so far hasn't seemed to offer a lot of new stuff... But let's see... Then I'm reading the Revolutionary Girl Utena manga, first volume.

Has anyone read Tales of the Otori (a trilogy) by Lian Hearn? I recently read the first book, Across the Nightingale Floor, and oh my god, it is one of the best books I've ever read
The other two I haven't read are Grass For His Pillow, and Brilliance of the Moon. It's basically set in an Ancient Japanese world...thing lol, and it's about different clans/tribes who sort of compete against each othe for power. It's got all sorts of thing combined in it love, hate, romance, war, honour...it is really good, seriously, check them out. ![]() |

Song of Susannah (Book VI of Dark Tower) - Steven King
Then it's on to the Dark Tower itself!! Next up - Neil Stephenson's Baroque Cycle trilogy. Anyone read any of them yet? Quicksilver, Confusion and The System of the World. I never used to like long epic series (don't have the patience), but two of the greatest writers of the modern age. I can't resist.
