I'm reading "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, and I just finished the first chapter a little while ago. So far I like it, but we'll see how it goes!

I'm currently reading "Memoirs of a Geisha" By Arthur Golden.

I'm only a few chapters in, but it's really really good so far.

I just finished reading " 'The Dirt' Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band" an autobiographical book by the 4 members of Motley Crue. It was certainly an interesting read to say the least.

I'm currently reading Basket Case by Carl Hiaasen, famous for his comedic mysteries. The term "Jimmy and the Slut Puppies" is the only reason you need to read this book.

So I finished reading the Magicians Nephew. So here is my thought. Being that I saw CoN, I thought that they shouldn't of started off with that book. When I got to the last part of that where it talks about the apple tree being turned into the Wardrobe there was a shock about it all. It seemed to make sense. It made me go WoW! So if i had not seen the movie first and not know anything about it, it would of taken the shock value away from that scene, also the part where the lamp post came to be.

Actually, They didn't start off with The Magician's Nephew. IT was a prequel release After The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe. *nods* People just assume it's the first book becasue it happened before The second.

In the book I have (its one big book) it starts off with that book. I knew in the other series that it didn't start off with that one.

I'm currently reading Loretta Lynn's autobiography "Coal Miner's Daughter". In the book Loretta tells about being poor and living in Butcher Holler without electricity, how she married her husband when she was only 13 years old & already having four kids at the age of 18 and how she finally became the first lady of Country music. The movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" is also based on the book.
I'm also reading Shakespeare's "Hamlet" at the moment.
