I'm currently reading 'The Potato Factory' by Bryce Courteney. I'm enjoying it and finding it very interesting. I love the way he writes. My favourite of his books to date is White Thorn - that one was great!
Next on my list to read (after the two others in the trilogy of course) is Memoirs of a Geisha

I've been reading S.W. Maugham since autumn. We read his books in the University (in English), so i have to. Well, I like him. A lot. Though I like short stories more than novels. During the first half-year we were reading stories and they're awesome. My favourite one is "Treasure'. And now we're finishing his novel "Theatre". It's good too, but I think it's too long and the action is sooo slooow. But well, Maugham is a great writer. Can you recommend me other stories/books of him?

I'm on "Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka as well as "Inferno" by Dante. I love Dante's "Inferno." I initiallyed hated "Metamorphosis" but after spending some time discussing it in class, I'm starting to appreciate it. |

![]() I've got a Robert Jordan book, Knife of Dreams, on reserve at the library. I'll be reading it sooner or later.
