I just finished 'Ulysses' by James Joyce, by far the most difficult book that I've ever read and, not surprisingly, one of the most rewarding. I recommend it for anyone who hates themselves, or for those who want to feel humbled by someone else's literary talent. I highly recommend getting 'the new bloomsday book' by harry blamires and reading it side by side with the text if you're interested in really diving into the meaning of the text.

I'm about a 4th of the way through Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. I'm really into the musical, so I thought I'd read the inspiration. It's really great...it really helps you understand the Wicked Witch (Elphaba) more (and actually come to like her), and everything about Wizard of Oz becomes more believable. Even if you don't like the Wizard of Oz, it's a cool and interesting book...it's about politics, relationships, religion, and tons of stuff. It's really rich. A little R rated in some parts which I don't particularly enjoy, but otherwise one of my favorites so far.

ooh and and and ... im reading The Bell by Iris Murdoch .. it's my english literature set text .. it's really quite intereting =]

Haha Thats weird! I read Digital Fortress during the Summer too! I also read "Wolf Brother" by Michelle Paver, I can't wait to get the second one >_<
