Im thinking about how, when I was doing my barn chores this morning at the school farm, I found a sheep that had pulled his horn out. Sheep and goats have horns, but they dont actually attach to the skull until they are about one or two years old, so you have to be careful with them. Apparently this sheep was playing or wrestling and got his horn yanked out, he was covered in blood and losing it fast. Poor little guy! And when I haltered him to get him to come to the med room to clean him up he did not want to come...now I'm covered in sheep blood. But at least the sheep is okay!

I have no idea how kids today would actually survive without all their stupid little gadgets. I didn't have a cell phone until I got a job at 16 and got one for myself. I still don't use an iPod. I was never on the computer enough for my parents to even want to restrict my access to it. Seriously. How do they survive nowadays? I think parents are conditioning their kids to be retarded for when they grow up.

I mean, come on. Kids don't need cell phones or video games or mp3 players or the internet. I never had a cell phone when I was younger and I never seemed to have a problem with that. AND I'M NOT EVEN THAT OLD. I just can't get over it. My little brother (15) practically has his cell phone glued to his hand and has to check his MySpace page every three seconds. I just DON'T.GET.IT. Kids these days are so freaking dependent on the most material and useless things.

It's worse for the parents too though. I mean, my parents are the same parents they were back when I was younger as they are now with my brother. My brother recently LOST HIS CELL PHONE (keep in mind that he got this phone when he was 14 - HAHAHAHAHA, I know, that's so stupid - and he didn't even have it a year, and the thing looked like shit. It had so many nicks in it, and the screen itself had this HUGE crack running through it). So, my mom didn't know what to do... a new phone, even the cheapest, to get on the contract she has would cost her $200.

I told her: Make him (my brother) pay for it, or just don't get him a new one. And she SERIOUSLY said, "But he NEEDS his phone, that's how I know where he is and can get a hold of him." ::FACEPALM:: ARE.YOU.SERIOUS? WHO.FREAKING.CARES? Not to mention the fact that just because he has a cell phone, doesn't mean you can get a hold of him because he has a habit of 1. Not leaving it "on" during those important times, or 2. Not picking up when she's calling. Anyway, to get to the point, my mom bought my irresponsible twat of a brother the new $200 phone.

That is just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. It really makes me just want to pull my hair out.

KIDS ARE SO DAMN SPOILED THESE DAYS. WHAT THE CRAP IS UP WITH THAT?!
