That's exactly what I've been thinking about too.

I don't think I have OCD. I mean, I used to count things (like steps I took and stuff) when I was little, but I thought that was just me having a stupid, little kid mind and that they did that sort of thing. To me, everything I do or check up on has some kind of logical explanation behind it.

I'm the same way with my computer too btw. Everything's always organized, but that's just how I run everything I do. It's all set up in a system. But to me, that's only because it looks prettier that way, plus it helps you to be more efficient and keep track of everything that you're doing.

I don't think that color-coding, alphabetizing, and re-writing your letters because they aren't neat enough is OCD-behavior. I think that stuff just all comes down to me being a perfectionist, and having the desire for things to be in their places. Right?

(This OCD thing totally has my mind consumed at the moment.)

Right. You're talking about being organized because you like it that way and it's efficient. OCD, from my understanding, is more about having compulsatory reactions that really don't make much sense, but you feel super-uncomfortable if you don't do them.

Like how if I hit I accidentally hit my hand on something lightly, I'll feel the need to do the same with my left, just to balance it out. But hitting your hand on something on purpose doesn't make sense or have any good payoff, except that you don't feel like its lacking something anymore.

And not being able to stop thinking about some random thing (particularly if it scares you) until you go through some sort of other senseless ritual. Just having a habit doing stuff that has no logical purpose but you feel like you have to do it otherwise you feel really uncomfortable.

Thats what it means to me anyway.
