My parents love it but are sick of it. Both asked to go with me to the Avalon Concert though, but since i got the tix secondhand it was too expensive. And when we were in AZ, they asked me to put the CD in the car stereo. My mouth was hanging open for five minutes. My parents actually like the same music as i do...lol. My mom loves the lyrics and well....my dad thinks Amy's hot.

It's cool though. My dad might come to the next concert i go to in NY.

Oh yeah, and my dad is trying to play MI on piano but i'm better than him despite the fact that he took 10 years of lessons and i took 1 year, but he loves the song, and he tries singing sometimes but we all VERY well know that he can't sing...it's sort of disturbing...

since i'm the only one at my home that speaks english, nobody says awful things about evanescence's messages ^_^.. they just don't understand the lyrics anyway... my mommy likes the way my immortal sounds.... but when i listen to haunted for example she complains and say it's just a bunch of annoying noises ¬¬.... My grandma likes whisper because she is such a catholic [O_o] and she thinks the end looks like church songs.... but as my mommy, for her, going under is just some non sense noise

LMAO! oh my god, my dad does the same thing, but it's not just disturbing, it's creepy and really funny! Someday I'll tape that!

My dad gives me his frequent flyer miles for me to go all around the country to see Eva (keep in mind that I am grown with children of my own, including a 16 year old); isn't that rather nice of him?

me being a leb girl, my parents expect me to act like all the other lebs, even like the same music as them. when BMTL came out, i fell in love with it. my mum liked it... for a while.... then she told me to turn "that shit off". now that i've got the album, i listen to it non- stop. same for the origin and demo songs. what the parents don't understand is that these songs come from within and that's why we are attracted to the music. oh yeah, and the music's great too... lol

. my dad just gives me a disappointed death stare everytime i put on an evanescence song.

my mom loves evanescence and likes to torture me by puttin on one of there songs then changin it but she always put it back bc she knows ill hurt her. bmy dad thinks amy and ben r gothic those r the only band members he knows (he still thinks ben is in the band eventhough i keep tellin him he left) and when i told him i met ben at a linkin park concert he told me i was goin to burn in hell for bein gothic and talkin to gothic people it was kinda funny considerin im not gothic and i seriously doubt ben and amy r

haha funny, my dad cant even tell if someone is singing in tune!!!! he knows nothing about music!!!!! at least your dads give it a go (though it would be hilarious)

My mom likes them, although she believes My Immortal is really..REALLY overplayed. I agree with her. Damn the radio for playing the same songs over and over and over again.

My dad likes them too, I think.
