My parents don't care at all. They have no comment on Evanescence. Maybe they think I have the right to choose what I like... I don't know.

my parents...well actuly my mom^_^ its a freak fan of evanescence...when amy was at the billboard award she was like:
DANABIS come! come quikly! Amy its singin right now! come lets whatch it!... i think she gets more exited that me LOL... we are latinos and my mom dont actuly know exacly the liriks of the songs... she try her best... and at the other hand my dad... when he see pictures of amy in my pc he's like: "ooh i like her hair... i whant you to have that hair.... oh so she has green eyes?"
me-"no dad... its blue" dad-"oh.. okay.... so shes the one that fell out of that bilding? the one that looks something like spider girl or something right?"
me-"ah 0.O yeah...something...like that"
but im glad that my dad NOW thinks that, cuz before that he kinda make fun of amy...and i HATED that sooo much..
ok thats all... finaly right?

My Dad hates Amy's voice! It really annoys me. He got really freaked when I went goth because of them. He tried to ban me but when he goes to work I always listen to "Origin"!

My parents started out liking Ev. One time my dad said "I heard this one song on the radio and I really like the piano part. Can you play it by ear?" I had no clue to what song he was talking about because he didn't know the lyrics or anything. A year or so later when I was downloading their older stuff, my mom decided that they were satanic and I shouldn't be listening to them because of none other than Field of Innocence. Figure that one out. She didn't mind Lies after I told her the lyrics, but she can't stand Ev because of Field of Innocence. And my dad now thinks Amy's just a gothic freak and doesn't want me listening to Ev because of that.

my dad doesnt live with us and mom has no idea who is evanescence .. she listen me singing everyday song melody, but for her its just another band and she doesnt know english as well, and if i sing evils songs, she would never know... but she always ask me what this song tells about and i try to explain her, but its kinda comom for her... i was raised singing everytime, so its kinda normal.. i dont know..

my parents are kind of torn between being happy that neither fallen or origin have expletives (as my mum likes to say) and being upset because im listening to "that suicide music" again. ha ha it's funny, but overall they like ev better than my other music mwah ha ha, i have no idea why that needed an evil laugh but it so did

my mam sometimes get tired of Ev music, but in a small doses she likes it!

But if I don't listen Ev for a while, she doesn't recognize it in some reason! (and asks me a stupid question "is it you singing?" ... a really annoyed with that after she asked for that the fifth time...

)

i was really surprised by some of the reactions by some parents! i dont know how they can call amy a gothic freak coz she's hardly marilyn manson is she! but they are parents after all!

i think, my parents are not really interested in evanescence but my mom like "my immortal" a lot. and my dad....mhm i don't know...^^
