mum dad and yes my sister (but she steals all my music- minus WT and nightwish etc)
but yes mum is one of those people addicted to MI and dad will listen and my sister came to the 2nd aus tour with me so that is all i have to say

^ Lucky you for your family liking them! I remember when I got Fallen for my birthday, my mum kept getting me to play it again and again because she liked it so much. My dad likes them, he rekons Amy has a really good voice, and he would have gone with me to Melbourne to see them only he couldn't get a ticket.
My sister says she hates them, but then, sisters often say that, then you find them hidden in their rooms secretly listening to the very music they are supposed to hate...

When I first played Fallen in the car, my Mom thought it was horrible and wasn't really music. It has slowly grown on her though. My dad on the other hand loved it.

My mother hates it cause she thinks it´s depressing and only people with really hard problems listen to "this kind of music"...pah! But I guess she got used to it during the years

My parents don't really care what music I listen to as long as I don't "go goth." They got a little freaked out when they first saw the album cover for "Fallen" because Amy has a lot of eyeliner on (to them), but now they're ok with it

When my mom found out I liked Evanescence, she just found it straight-out weird, because I never used to listen to rock music at all. I was the Madonna freak. I think she thought I was being influenced by my little brother, because he's a lot more into this type of music than I am. And she also assumed (and I think she still does somewhat) that Evanescence is satanic, though it was just an assumption, since she hasn't really heard them too much. But I've shown her a few of their performances, and she realized that Amy is freakin' talented. Considering the fact that she doesn't like them, I think it means a lot that she was REALLY impressed with Amy's singing, for it is a completely unbiased opinion. So ever since, she's kinda backed away from that "they are Satanic" idea, and she doesn't mind at all anymore that I like them. Well, she never actually minded, but as I said, she found it weird.

As for my brother, he got me into them, even though he himself doesn't like them that much. Weird but true. My dad has absolutely no idea who they are, so there's not much to say about him.

well my parents grew up listening to sh*t like ozzie,black sabbath,jimmy hendrix,alice cooper ect., but they do like ev to my surprise they go there is some major talent there, my brother & sister love them 2 to be honest I don't even care what they think all that matters is that I like them.
