she just knows that i'm obsessed..
Once I said to some people that she like Evanescence. I was just kidding, but when I told her that she replied, OMg you can't say that, they shouldn't think I'm sick, or something like that!
What does that mean?!? Does she think I'm sick just because I love evanescence, or what?

When I bought Fallen, I don't actually remember what my mom said. I just remember that my sister played it a lot in her bedroom, but today she doesn't like it anymore (don't know why, that's a shame, but...). Then, I realized that my parents started to hate the band everytime I put it on the car's CD player. From that day on, my parents hate Evanescence. But they are OK if I listen in my MP3 player, so the problem begins only if they hear Amy's voice...

Evanescence isn't really dark, I mean people think their satanic but their songs have nothing to do with any of that. Evanescence is actually pretty poppy compared to the other music that I listen to like Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Otep etc.

My parents are now concerned that I listen to slipknot and Marilyn Manson now that they know that Evanescence isn't bad.

my dad likes one song that "snow white queen", he said that one wasnt too bad.
the rest of my family i dunno what they think of it coz i never really listened to my music around them and when im alone i have my music full blast.

My mom is alright with Evanescence, in fact she loves the band! Maybe not as much as I do, but she still loves Evanescence.

I've got a funny story though, it has nothing to do with what my mom thinks but what one of my teachers thought. On my folder for one of my high school classes I wrote out the lyrics to "Even in Death" and "Tourniquet". I got called out of my class and she asked if I was going to commit suicide. I got a kick out of it... It was pretty awkward being in the same class with her though.

i think your very right there who cares what they think its up to us what if we listen to evanescence or not they dont like it then tough they can play the music they like all the time so its only fair if we do to.
