Tides of Time representing! It's a shame hardly anyone played the game after a whole generation's will to live was crushed by the unremittingly evil first game. What's the best way to avoid chompy death in shark infested water? Ecco 1 would have you randomly leap out the water hoping you don't land in something's mouth, Time has you turning into a shark at which point it's other dolphins you have to worry about.
ToT's a beautiful work of 16-bit art, replete with a bitching soundtrack, aforementioned fun and innovative gameplay and a mind-bendlingly trippy storyline (travel into the future to get chucked across the sky by psychic flying dolphin descendants; the battle to save the world ultimately hinges upon your ability to bruise a giant testicle within a Giger-esque prison cell).

When I was 11 listening to them, my mom and dad thought it was a phase, but now, 9 years later...

My mom, (my dad is deceased), thinks it's awesome I found something I'm really into. She loves that I play their music; she loves listening to me sing their songs; she loves all the websites I made dedicated to them.

All in all, I'm not ashamed to say, "I love Evanescence" around her.

I've always used headphones so I've never had problems. My family doesn't know anything about the music I listen to

Pretty much the same, except that one brother knows 2-3 songs by them and likes them, and my sister doesn't like their style. The latter thing "hurt" me most cuz she is a musician herself, but what can I do about that. She is into Latino folk stuff, not really into Rock'n'Roll.

My mother's going with me to see Ev in August, so she's okay with them. She says too much of Amy's voice hurts her ears though... She likes Swimming Home more than their other songs.

My sister likes Evanescence, but usually prefers to listen to their acoustic performances I burn to cd's. The only songs she really really likes are Erase This, My Heart is Broken, Lost in Paradise (all three of which we sing together when I play the piano), and Breathe No More though. Swimming Home, on the other hand, she effin' loves. It used to make her cry every time she heard it (only because the interpretation I have of the song reminds her of certain things in our family history).

The rest of my family doesn't really pay much attention to them.

Apotheosis

My Mom and I have always been fans of Ev. when she would pick me and my siblings up for her weekend, Her and I would sit there and sing the songs together and blatantly ignore my siblings the whole way to her house.

Our favorite song was "Anywhere" =D

As for my Father, he used to try and steal my Fallen CD and break it. I had to buy a couple of copies. He thought it was contributing to my overall depression and "gothiness". lol
Although, recently, I came home to find him rocking out to The Open Door. when I confronted him, he told me he kept on of the Fallen CD's he had taken from me and he secretly really enjoyed the music. Apparently he's been keeping tabs on Ev ever since.

My twin Brother finally came around to them after his fanboy crush on Kelly Clarkson faded somewhat. My older second oldest sister has always shared a passion for the Fallen era.

My aunt and my cousin recently went to an Ev concert in Florida. I was SOOO jealous.

So yea, Ev is pretty well accepted in my family.

My mum likes them even though I forced her to go to the (hopefully soon-to-be)concert with me since I can't go on my own.
My dad doesn't mind them, but he calls them Evan-ess-en-eh for some reason My sister seems to hate them. She's told me numerous times she dislikes them but it just seems like she hates them. And my brother thinks they're, excuse my language here, 'sh*t unless they're remixed into dubstep.'

Mom: She doesn't like rock music at all. Her reaction to the Fallen album cover: "What is that? It looks scary."

Brother: Doesn't like their type of rock music but he did show a little interest in the song "Lies" when I was playing it in my car.
