I was just wondering what everyones parents think of Evanescence. Do they worry about you??? mine thought it was just a stage I was going through but they are know realising this is me, this is who I am you know? My mum liked them when I first got Fallen but now she is kind of sick of it, so is my dad but my dad loves them now since I downloaded Origin. He got really excited when I put Origin on this morning it was funny, he loves Anywhere.

My mom likes Evanescence a little bit. She's been to two concerts. She doesn't mind that I'm obsessed.
My dad doesn't care. He likes them (I think)

my parents think its ok i like evanescence, but when i put whisper i dont know why they are like....thats definely satanic. wich is not! my mom only likes My Immortal and songs like that, my dad dont like at all, but when i put the end of Tourniquet(violin) he just love it!

my mom likes evanescence alot. she listens to origin and fallen daily. my mom thinks amy is an outstanding preformer and she thinks ev is talented. and she thinks my obsession for them is funny.

My mom is always like 'oh this song means so much to me. amy wrote this for ME' whenever I play their music. She's a crazy mother fucker, and a trendy whore. She just says that whenever a popular group comes around.

Lucky you guys, I get so much shit about Evanescence almost everytime I listen to them. Well not so much my mom, but this morning she came in my room while I was listening to them and she goes, "You're freakin in love with her aren't you" I was like pssh yea. My dad's the jerk-off though. All I hear out of him, "Shut that whiney ass up" "I wish you would fuckin get sick of her already." I'm sick of him I'll tell you that. I have been for a long time. I don't care though, the more they bitch the louder I play it

haha my parents sat me down like a month ago and was like ok this Evanescence thing is a bit too much and you are way too obsessed but they can't change me, I love them soooo much and I can't help it and nothing has changed since then!!!!!!!!!! (my parents love the orchestral bits and slow songs too)

my mom hates them and will always hate... well, but my parents hate almost everything that I like...
but my dad loves Amy, it's sooo funny! He agrees that she has an amazing voice, and they're all really talented, and sometimes he even sings some songs
