I'm pretty conflicted on this one. I would either change my name to Elijah Coltraine or Later Tommorow. Maybe I should post a poll to help me decide?

My name is Cathryn Marie, and I like it better than if it were spelled Catherine or Katherine. But if I could change it, I would change it to Cathryn Sky, because that's what my dad wanted it to be before I was born, and I while I used to find it odd, I find it very pretty and sweet.

My mums name is Naida. With the I before the D. It's pronounced like Nay-da. Haven't met anyone else with that name.

I was really big on names a their meaning when I was little and stumble across a variant on Melissa: Melosa. I love the way it sounds, so I go with that.

i don´t think i´d change my name!

it´s well known name in germany and turkey (ok, the spelling and the pronouncing in turkey is a little different - they write it deniz and it sounds a bit like dennis with an accent "i" ) and because i´m half turkish, that´s not that unimportant for me

and i like the turkish meaning = ocean!
my parents wanted an international known name for me and chose the not turkish writing because i was born and raised in germany and have a typical german surname!

in addition i can´t imagine myself with another name. look in a mirror and call yourself with another name... it´s like other names don´t fit

i´ll save the names i really like for my children, so that they can debate one day of what names they´d prefered

and what silly names we gave to them

I love the name Charna.

I don't really mind my name though, so I think I'll save 'Charna' for my first daughter. It's also the name of my muse.

My nickname is the Big Hombre, but that's not really a name. I like either Alex or Johnny Memphis.
